Mizuno has become my favorite brand of athletic shoe. All of the pairs I have bought have been well-made and long lasting, Super comfortable and light weight, and sharp looking shoes. These ones are no different. The design of the shoes are nice. These are lightweight just like all the others I have bought before. They are just as well made. The body of the shoe is solid while having plenty of give. The souls have good flex and grip to them. The insoles are super comfortable as well, being soft, but not overly so. One of the other great things about Mizuno's is how you can wear them in multiple settings. They work well casually, taking a run, going to the gym, even hiking. Of all the shoes I have bought from Ozuna, I haven't had anything negative to say about any of them to this point.
I ordered up from my average size one-half size up which seems to be common in any running shoe that does not run very wide or have a wide toe box. I was correct and fit beautifully. I also could not believe the excellent cushion - not quite like walking on a cloud but close- with one shoe on and one off- I was elevated at least around half an inch off the ground- WHICH WAS GREAT- I walk lot with shoes like this when I can- and it will help protect my back a ton- I had an older pair of Nike's I loved that are hard to find- and had to buy new inserts (Dr Scholl) twice- and even with those I would come home in great pain, especially back. I doubt it will happen with these, at least not while they are in the newer state. I am pretty confident of that and have no issue giving 5 stars based on comfort, fit and a pleasant surprise especially as they are inexpensive compared to the typical $150-200 I buy for more intense usage. You may wish to consider ordering half a size larger if you have ever had to do so before with other brands like Nike. That is a very personal choice and at least with amazon, if you get the fit wrong, the return is easy if you don't wear them outside. I believe with Zappos with many brands you can often try them outside as well- and the two companies have paired up- but you would need to compare the exact policies and I tend to never wear new running shoes outside to try them out, only indoors to ensure the fit is perfect.
I don't get the bad reviews on this shoe, I think they're excellent. I bought these and an Adidas Ultraboost 21 to compare and see which one I wanted, and I ended up returning the Ultraboosts. I actually preferred the cushioning on the Wave Riders even though the Ultraboosts are considered the more cushioned shoe. It's a plush feel, but not overly so to where it feels like you're sinking in. Fit and price were better than the Ultraboosts too.The last wave riders I had were the Wave Rider 23, and I much prefer these. It definitely feels more cushioned in the heel than the 23 did and I'm pretty sure there is more stack height on the 25 just going from memory before I retired my 23's. They are also extremely light for how cushioned the ride is. They're a great all around shoe, which is exactly what I was looking for.The only negative on these are the looks in my opinion. I think the Wave Rider 23 waveknits I had looked much better. These are just kind of a bland looking shoe, no frills. Very traditional looking. The only advantage the Ultraboosts had was that they looked better, but I wanted a dedicated running shoe and don't particularly care how they look. These are a great option if you're looking for cushioned shoe that you could use on any run.
Love Mizuno! Have worn only them for nearly 20 years. Ordered my most recent pair a couple of months ago. As always, I ordered the same size as my last 8-10 pairs. Tried them straight from their box and was satisfied with their fit. As I beganto wear them for training, I noticed that they were a bit snug and my toes were a bit cramped. I ultimately had to order a second pair a half size larger than the first pair. I have been using the new pair regularly for training with no issues. Just to be sure, I pulled out 2 or 3 previous generations from my closet in my original size and they all fit well. Still wouldn’t swap my Mizunos for another brand but advise being careful in the size!
I've been running in Mizuno Wave Rides for 10 years and they are still my favorite shoe. The size, support, and comfort have been consistent through the years. I first chose this model because it was the only one cut low enough that it didn't rub under my ankles. Every couple years I test other running shoes at the store, but I always end up buying another pair of Wave Riders. The shoes have enough flexibility to handle changes in your feet during long runs and they have a decent life span, for me around 350-400 miles, and a while a fter as walking shoes.
Great shoe. Arrived quickly.
These are probably the best sneakers I’ve ever had. They are light and very comfortable.
These running shoes are a game-changer, providing unmatched comfort and support with every stride, making my runs feel effortless. The innovative cushioning system adapts to my foot's shape, offering stability and reducing impact on rough terrains. Stylish and durable, they've quickly become my go-to pair for both training and casual jogs, consistently outperforming my expectations.
