Nice clean look and very comfortable in 1st week, including a 5 mile walk. Durable enough for most outdoor activities except serious trails, but light and stretchy enough to keep on all day. Like the ability to have a wide size.
Absolutely perfect fit and I enjoy wearing these I stay on my feet all day and walk for 10 plus miles every day and these shoes are amazing.
I know I need wide shoes but they didn't have them in my size. They are a little tight but are nice comfortable shoes.
Nice design but runs 1 size small and had to return-
This is a very fashionable shoe and my husband says it is very comfortable.
For some reason, Amazon advertises the New Balance Roav V1 shoes as "running shoes", but calls the Roav V2 shoes "sneakers". I think sneakers is more accurate. The boxy fit, thick wide heel, and relatively few lace eyelets make these shoes somewhat clunky for running. As casual shoes or fair-weather walking shoes, they work pretty well except for durability. The big heel gives these shoes a lot of cushioning and stability. The slightly loose fit doesn't cut off my circulation like running shoes sometimes do. The fabric uppers are definitely not rain-resistant and the soles don't have a lot of grip on wet or rocky conditions, so I only use these on smooth dry surfaces (indoors or outdoor pavement). My biggest complaint is durability. The sole is made from a lightweight foam (hence their "Fresh Foam" brand name). After just a couple of months of daily walking, the tread on the sole has mostly worn down. The shoes are still usable, but I don't know how much longer they will last.
I ordered a full size bigger than I normally wear and I ordered them in wide (I normally don’t wear wide). Even so, the to box is constrained and my big toe hit the top of the shoe’s fabric. It was not too short but my big toe rubbed constantly. A very uncomfortable shoe. Take a pass on this one.
