My friend has a pair of new balances in the same color and I loved the look and color. I decided to go for a different style of running shoe and after reading the great reviews for this model online decided to pull the trigger. I had some cheap Nike shoes from a few years ago that just weren't cutting it and were never very comfortable or sturdy. So far I am really enjoying them, super cushioned, and the castlerock color goes well with everything I wear. I am still breaking them in, they are super comfortable for walking but they're still molding to my feet so it's a little awkward to run in them still. I'm sure it'll get more comfortable as they get broken in and I reacclimate to running again.
Got a size 5 and it fits true to size. Shoe is super comfy, feels good on my easy runs. Still breaking them in so not 100% sure I would recommend to other runners. Great looking shoe though.
I absolutely love this running shoes for Support is wonderful, and the fact that they come in narrow was the selling point for me. I just wish they had more colors in the narrow as I did not have many choices, and had to buy white.

I took a job at a local food store part time. I noticed 4 hrs in, my Nikes wouldn't work for this abuse on my feet on those concrete floors. I talked to a lot of people and they loved Brooks so I tried thise next. They didn't make it but a couple hours in. I bought a pair of these New Balance shoes at a local sport store and as soon as I put them on, I knew they were going to work. So cushiony if thats a word. Went to work and they made it 6 or 7 hours into my shift so I bought another pair so I can swap them out on the weekends. I do wish they came in more colors, but I now own a black pair and the blue pair. Little on the pricy side, but if I am going to put that much abuse on my feet, then I had to have some good shoes.
The shoes came used. I can see that it was used by the ties and the inside of the shoes and the top of the shoes was damaged; it opened up because it came unglued. I received it today and will be returning it. Well, I am not paying $179 for an unused and damaged shoes.
These are my work shoes, I’m a nurse and need something that’s comfortable for 12+ hours. These are amazing. I will say they are very plush shoes, but that is exactly what I need in my shoes.
Feels like walking on cloud, but not much arch support. Not recommended for flatfooted persons.
