I truly am surprised and pleased with just how comfortable these sneakers are with a good amount of cushioning between the floor and your feet. They also seem to be well made and have a mesh upper part which breathe really well and is also comfortable on the top of my feet. As far as the size I normally wear a 13 but decided to try a 14 and I'm very glad I did because they fit just right so that means they tend to run small. Only time will tell how long they will last but I am very pleased with the quality and the feel of the sneakers.
Im not crazy about these shoes. They’re not the most comfortable, very stiff in the toe box, the material is noisy/the shoes crinkle with every step, the toe box area slopes upwards at an unnatural degree, and the tab on the Achilles area is excessively long.The sole has good cushion and the insoles are padded well. Style wise, they just look awkward. Not quite the quality or style I expected from a titanic brand like this.
I have another pair of Salomon. These are comfortable and have good width across the ball of the foot but seem to be small / narrow across the top of the foot. I normally wear D / M or W / E depending on the branch. I like the weight of these and the response on the sole feels good.
The first thing that impressed my son was the weatherproof membrane, which kept my feet dry and protected on wet and muddy trails. Despite the added protection, these shoes are incredibly soft and comfortable, making the transition from streets to trails a breeze.The cushioning is top-notch, and they feel plush on any surface, making long hikes a lot more enjoyable. But what truly sets these shoes apart is the outsole with All Terrain Contagrip rubber. It provides exceptional grip and traction on any terrain, whether I'm on rocky mountainsides or slippery trails.He did say Black w/ Grey or Red would be a better color for his taste.
Great shoes except for the part where I can't barely wear them unless I'm not wearing any socks. And even so, it still hurts the top of my toes.I'm not sure why Salomon shoes are so tight nowadays. I got a pair of their Gore-Tex GTX boots back in 2011 and they were perfect at 9.5. Then a couple of years ago I ordered another GTX this time non Gore-Tex and it was just as tight as these new hiking shoes. I can't use my boots and I can't use these hiking shoes at 9.5.The design and colors are okay, nothing too extraordinary for the retail price of these shoes.I'd order a full size larger, that way you can wear a bit thicker hiking socks.
All the operators to be like to suit up with Salomons. These look sharp and have a tight fit. The ankle is exposed but I do like the fit. I have a normal width foot. For hiking I will be scaling boulders with no problem. I like them
these shoes are lightweight and great for hiking. says Gor Tex but hubs hasn't tested out the water feature yet. He says they are comfortable and look great on. color choice is nice.
These are about a half size or full size smaller - so they were too small for my foot with a really tight fit. They are nice shoes, but make sure you size up at least a half size.
