I use these for everyday errands, walking dog, exercise, they hold up well, are cushioned well. Great traction, light weight. NOT water proof. Hard to beat Saucony.
I ordered these shoes specifically for walking in the snow on paved streets and sidewalks. They are really grippy and provide excellent traction in the snow so I’m not slipping at all! I thought they would be good, but wow! They are fantastic!! Comfortable too!!
This is a great fitting and comfortable shoe, but the color online is not the color I received. Maybe it’s just the lighting during the photo but the actual shoe looks slightly different. It’s still a beautiful shoe just not as bright yellow as I was expecting.
I am decently happy with these. Seem to be a bit narrow in the middle of my foot but other than that, lightweight and comfortable.
Been wearing this model for several years. Fits great, comfortable, good grip.
These are - without a doubt - the most comfortable pair of trail shoes I've ever had. They've held up during a 27-mile race and everyday wear and tear. They're that versatile - rugged and so comfy I want to wear them while out doing errands or working in the back yard. Great purchase!
Like another reviewer, I absolutely loved the Saucony Peregrine 10 shoes. From the moment I first tried them on, I knew they were among the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. Unfortunately, they lasted far shorter than I had hoped they would. They wore through the soles, and I think the rock plate broke in one of them. So I had to replace them. I got another Saucony product. It was fine, but definitely not as good. Thankfully, though, they lasted twice as long. But eventually time comes for all men (and shoes), and I had to replace them as well. Saucony Peregrine 12s were the shoes I chose.I had read several reviews, and I honestly was not sure these would be the shoes for me. But there was a very tempting sales, so I pulled the trigger. After having had these shoes for a couple of months, I think my conclusions are very similar to that other reviewer. Saucony made some very questionable choices in removing padding, trying to make these shoes lighter. They are not uncomfortable per se, but they do not even come close to that initial feeling of amazing comfort that I got from the Peregrine 10s. They are a supportive, but fairly minimalist shoe. I like the lugs, but I worry that they will also wear down quickly. This is especially the case because of the slightly tacky material that the soles are made of. But only time will tell on that count. And by the time they are worn out, this listing will probably be gone. I am also contemplating replacing the insoles to make them more comfortable, and possibly reinforcing the outside, where on both my previous pairs, my little toes eventually wore holes in the fabric. If you are buying these shoes, consider seriously getting the wide size. One thing I loved about Saucony previously was the nice and spacious toe box. Thankfully, I read other reviews, which told me that these shoes were significantly narrower than previous offerings. I think the wide that I got is about the same size as the regular that I had in other models. So you should only buy the regular if you have narrow feet or if you like having your toes pulled together.
I’ve run 8 trail ultras and numerous marathons in various versions of Peregrine’s including this version. I’ve had zero foot issues and they have been more than enough. I started with version 4 and have bought a pair every year since.Others I’ve used: lone peak, speedgoat, cascadias. None of those lasted as long as peregrines
