Just received these shoes in the mail and love them. Just the look alone very cool. Shoes are super light weight. Trying them on they are a little snug up front which is expected as they need broken in. Used them at the gym already and like the support they give. Thought since the heel was a little low would have issues with the shoe slipping at the heel but no slipping at all. So far so good with these shoes.
this is the first time wearing saucony for me and it was rather of a toss up as to what running shoe to buy as i am so attached to new balance. However they stopped making the MR1400 model. Anyway, this shoe does not even need 'breaking in' as it is a soft comfortable fit from the beginning. I am accustomed wearing 9.5 in new balance and my size remained the same with these saucony. Its very light but does offer a lot of cushioning for its weight. The heel height is a tad bit higher than i am accustomed to but its extremely comfortable all the same. Materials are extremely breathable and feels like a perfect comfort strike with each strike to ground. i would definitely buy again.
They were for my son, he loves them. He says they fit perfect and are very comfortable. They look really good as well!
This shoe has been a long standing, go to shoe for me through all kinds of races or just knocking around in them.
These shoes are perfect.I love the color for running outside. Easy to see me.
Took these babies out for a spin this week. I love them and they are perfect. They are light weight and the viziglo allows for a safer run. I havent been this excited about a shoe in a long time.
I've always used Saucony for running and was excited for this shoe. It's a good looking shoe but the shoe just doesn't feel right. My legs and feet are more sore than usual but after looking shoe over it may be a counterfeit. The tongue of the shoe looks like cheap quality stitching, I'm not sure but it's not true to Saucony's that I've used over the last 10 years. Something is off.
I'm 5'10" and about 160. I usually run a marathon a year. I have been wearing Kinvaras for a while. I enjoy this shoe greatly. It is a fairly "spongee" compared to the Kinvara 3, but this is great as the shoe seems to come into its own after a hundred miles or so. I usually get about 250 miles out of the older Kinvaras but have neared 400 with the 5s. I'm a bit of heal striker and I would get more miles out of the 5s were it not that the back outer heals are the first thing to go it seems on Kinvaras. I'll recycle them before I ever get to the bottom of them I feel certain. The toe box area is oddly a bit wider on these than previous Kinvaras. That room can feel a little "balloony" at first, especially with the added bounce from the "spongeeness" but it translates into give and speed. I can't understand why anyone would wear a heavier shoe when technology now allows for wonderful, light shoes like this to be available. I have no negatives except for the inexplicable wider toe box. Love 'em!
