I haven’t worn this sneaker to run yet but am pleased at the color, fit and comfort for everyday wear.
These shoes are so cute. Super comfy and great fit. Just love the bright color.
I liked the fit of these shoes which is what matters most about a running shoe I think. Unfortunately, I was also trying to kill two birds with one stone and get a pair of red shoes to wear to my daughters sporting events and coordinate with her team colors. This is more of a coral neon shade than a true red. For that reason alone, they'll have to go back. At this point, I can't get new runners AND red sneaks.
These would have been perfect for regular width feet, but mine run somewhat narrow. Nikes fit perfectly, if that helps, as do Asics Kayano (but heel drop is too high). I am a 9 in all of these shoes. I also tried Saucony Freedom in 9, which ran slightly small, so the width was good but length was too short. I returned for 9.5, but they were huge. I love the Liberty, but they were just too wide for my forefoot. Also FYI, I tried Hoko One One Clifton 4 in 9 - slightly long and too wide.
I’ve run in ASICS for years, first time buying Saucony based on great reviews for this model. I bought the ASICS GT-2000 at the same time. After 50 miles alternating between the two I find myself reaching for the Liberty more often. I do like both models, but the Liberty feels lighter and more breathable. Both do a great job providing stability support. The Liberty is a bit more expensive than the GT-2000. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes, 8.5 in hiking boots, but buy a size 9 in running shoes as I don’t like my toes touching the front of the shoe. Both these models allow me to lace up snug to prevent my foot from sliding forward.
This is the second pair I buy and I am very happy with them. I need a wide toe box this brand delivers. The price was really good too.
Stick with Saucony. Great shoes with firm arch support and perfect for running, walking, and exercise. The only shoe I’ll purchase for working out. No ‘breaking-in’ needed. Roomy toe box but snug fit. I’ve owned at least 12 pairs of Saucony. They’ve never let me down. They won’t let you down either.
I have been buying Saucony shoes for years now and have been very satisfied, but not with my latest purchase. The fit and support is typical to the Saucony line, but the color is off. It is definitely not red, it is more like neon dark coral. In the picture it looks like true red and is advertised as red, it is NOT.
