I'm a girl but I buy men's skating shoes cuz apparently women want stupid looking shoes. I like these, but I feel like they run a SMIDGE smaller than usual. I wear 8.5 men's and always have. They're a little snug tho? Kinda disappointing but a 9 would be too big so idk. These shoes are also a bit fatter than expected but I'm not mad about a fat skate shoe lol but I'm worried they might be too wide or will stretch out a little wider than i want. Maybe I missed something in the listing description. All in all, not mad, but... not in love. Still giving it 5 stars cuz they're nice af, nice colors, nice quality.
Love the style and fit
I bought these as a replacement, as I had already owned this pair for around 12 years. It just barely started to show signs of wear and tear after TWELVE years. So we knew right away that we would buy the exact pair again. These shoes are very comfortable and I can’t believe how long they last.
These shoes were exactly what I expected. I have bought many Etnies shoes in the past, and these didn't disappoint. They are well made, comoftable, and look great. I've received many compliments. They were all well priced compared to other retailers. If you are not familiar with the brand then I urge you to buy a half size up. The shoes are thick and tend to be a little snug otherwise.
I really like the look, very very nice looking. I'd like to mention that it's all fake leather or plastic, which I wasn't really considering when I bought these. I would have preferred some leather on the wear points. Anyway, the biggest draw back to these is the confort. While the tongue is nice and thick, the insole padding is very thin, making walking in them for long hurt your feet. So minus one star for that, but it's not like you can't replace the insole with something better so not a big deal. The ankle padding is nice though. Overall the look is fabulous, so I'm happy with the purchase.
This is atleast my 3rd or 4th pair of these shoes. I wear them for work. Alot of other people use Nike or whatnot and I tried using Air Forces but they just fall apart after 6 month or even less. Skate shoes are generally made to take abuse and these sure do. I can be on my feet for 15 hours and still feel fine and they don't rip or tear. Only complaint I ever have for these shoes are the laces are obnoxiously long. But I guess it worked out that on my last pair the laces somehow ripped so with a little readjustment there was still plenty left to use.
