This is a nice comfortable shoe. I was looking for skate shoes to wear daily, and had previously worn the now impossible to find Etnies Cinch shoes (the best most comfortable and good looking skate shoe EVER), so I was using those as a measuring stick of sorts for these. Overall they get pretty close to perfection, but there are a couple small details I didn't care for. The biggest problem i had with these was the collar area and tongue, I was hoping for more padding on the collar and tongue to help keep shoes in place, as I don't usually tie my laces. If you don't lace them to the top and tie securely (I tie these under the tongue), the sides of the collar almost fold when you take a step, and it feels kind of awkward. Despite that detail, they're very comfortable, feel relatively solid, have lots of style without being ostentatious, and you can't go wrong with purple (good looking purple skate shoes are very hard to find). I'd buy them again, but they're not quite the Etnies Cinch.
