Dearfoams Men's Aries Wave EVA Slide Slipper, Black Solid, Small

Are these a joke? I am a BIG Dearfoams fan, but this are just...not up to par. Truly awful. They run super, super small, they smell TERRIBLE and they are so narrow that even a normal sized foot would never fit in these things. They are stiff, ugly and just awful. I can't attest to the comfort as my foot will not fit in these in this lifetime. Not even after I am dead, my bone structure would still be too wide! Don't recommend.

These slippers are absolutely great for wearing around the house!Here's what I love about them:1. The soles are soft and comfy. The terrycloth lining is a perfect thickness - plush enough to be comfy, but not too thick where your foot gets overly sweaty and hot.2. They are tough on the outside - thick plastic that is not so rigid that you cannot walk without it digging in.3. Nice thick bottom soles with treads, even, so you don't slip.4. It's made from recycled material, so they are environmentally friendly5. You can wear them outside too though I generally don't...but totally fine for taking the trash out etc since at first glance, they look like typical slides people wear all the time. A tip: Do NOT wear these to the beach - you'll never get the sand out of that footbed!6. The outer sole and slipper overall is well built so they should last for a long time.7. They fit true to size, leaning slightly small. This worked well for me since I'm a half size, but if you prefer a little room in your slipper, order a size up.The only thing I don't love is that the tag is right on the sole - which is kind of annoying at first, but if you wear them for a day or two, you don't notice it anymore and it softens.They are not nice looking, mind you...LOL...which almost made me NOT order them, but I'm glad I did...this is definitely a matter of comfort over style, and it does win out in this case. Overall, I wouldn't give these as a gift - they are, as mentioned, kinda ugly and they come in a plastic bag versus a box. But if you don't care about looks, then these are a solid buy!

Yes, I'm a camo pattern fan and these look really nice the gray/black colorway. For the $50 price tag, the construction and quality of the materials seem really solid which is surprising these days but is it worth $50? I could see paying $29.99 but 50 is a little steep for house slides. Of course you could wear these around town but I think the "velvet" cushion insole material would probably get pretty dirty and stinky from the sweat from your foot. Even though it has a "no sweat comfort" tag..... I'm sure on a hot summer day your feet will sweat no matter what the product tag says, hahaha. It might have been better for wearing outside if the insole was left as foam with some sort of texture to help keep your foot in place. But then again that comfy and warm insole is what Dearfoams are known for.So lets get down to my experience:Pros: * The camo pattern and color. * The insoles are nice and comfy for the short try on period. You can feel the airy type cushion if you use your fingers to push on the insole. * The outer sole has some texture on it as well to help keep you from slipping. * The nice thing is that your feet feel secure in these slides but that could be because these are just too small for my feet so it's jammed in there. * Some of the slide is made form recycled material which is always a huge plus for any product you buy. * Machine WashableCons: * Too small - I got a medium (9-10) and I wear a size 10. It was definitely too small for me as you can see in the picture. Yes, I am wearing socks but I also tried to slide my bare foot in and my foot only slid in about 1/4" more. It probably is ok if you wear a size 9 but if you wear a 10, I would get the large. * Insole fabric I think will wear out pretty fast if you wear these on the daily and use them as outdoor slides. Plus I think it will trap smells more if you don't wear socks.If you can catch these on sale somewhere, I think it's a good purchase for the camo pattern fans as long as you get the right size.

These soft and squishy slides are good for shuffling around the house, or doing brief errands like taking out the dogs, getting the mail, or throwing them on for the school run when you know you won't get out of the car. (Yeah, I admit I do that.)Not the most attractive things, these are definitely comfortable, with a soft padded and cozy footbed and giving foam strap and sole. Slide slippers are good for those who like to wear socks, which is me in winter, but also take off the outdoor shoes in their house. With the footbed being fluffy, these also work barefoot, though be aware there are two annoying tags that are hard to fully remove and leave little edge underfoot if you can't get it all. (Rip them out if possible, rather than cutting.)We have slate floors, so rarely walk around barefoot and these make a decent inside option, without breaking the bank, but be aware these come bagged, not boxed, if you're considering them for gift giving. The foam soles also don't seem long lasting.

These slippers are functional but they aren't very comfortable. There are design mistakes here that you don't find in most generic slippers available in any store.-The top material feels like stiff plastic. It doesn't have the soft conforming sponginess like many other slides. I don't care that you used recycled materials if it's not comfortable.-The footbed is stiff and unforgiving. There is only about a 1/4" of memory foam which is not enough especially since it's just hard plastic rubber underneath. The too-thin fleece covering doesn't help much. How hard is it to use soft foam for the midsole?-I'm flabbergasted that a slipper maker would put an uncomfortable, scratchy brand label right on the footbed. It's great that you're proud of your brand name but there are a dozen other ways you can label your slipper without affecting the comfort.
