I mostly go barefoot inside the house. My shoes come off within 10 minutes of getting inside. Well, it's cold now & my toes get cold so I don't want to walk around barefoot but also don't want to wear shoes. These fit the bill perfectly - soft & flexible. They keep my feet warm & I can walk over the cold tile floor without wincing. I even wear them when I go into the garage, they can walk over the ground leading to the garage & my feet are comfortable due to the bottom sole on these.Sometimes I wear thin socks, but most of the time just bare feet inside of them. Then when it's time, they go in the wash machine. I take the insoles out & put both the insoles & shoes inside one of those zippered laundry bags for delicates to keep everything together & just wash them with my clothes. Then they take a ride in the drier with my clothes & they come out nice & fresh & clean. Love these!
Runs a little big. I wear an 8.5shoe and ordered an 7.5-8 and they fit great! I like that they are not too plush. This keeps my feet warm but not hot. Bought my mom a pair but she thinks the lining is not soft enough- she wears with socks.
These slippers are so comfortable, I almost don't realize I am wearing them. They are easy to slip on and fit my feet perfectly. They are light weight and allow your feet to breathe, yet have a rubber sole so you won't slip on wet floors in the kitchen or bath. Bottom line: they are good looking, fit perfect, comfortable and affordable. I would recommend.
No more slipping down the hardwood stairs for me! Easy to put on, flexible enough to comfortably sit on the couch with my feet under me, tough enough to walk outside when needed, don't make my feet hit and sweaty and grippy enough to not slide out slip around. I'll be wearing these a lot.
bought three different types of house shoes/slippers in a bid to find a decent pair as I'm always wearing socks but it's not enough protection for my feet as I have no feeling below the knee due to nerve damage. these were by far, the best of the lot.. as they actually grip my feet well but without cutting off blood flow (since I have very reduced feeling, I'm going on leaving marks after leaving them on all day and color of my foot, lol).they stay on your foot, wear like a sock but with a sole.. since I have no feeling, I kept walking out of my socks eventually.. without realizing it. I also have an amputated big toe and have trouble putting shoes on due to my various disabilities (back, leg, weight) but these go on pretty darn easily. these are the solution to my very specific needs, and will stretch easily as my feet tend to swell.. the other two were ok but more slipper types without real backs, which keep slipping off.. these do not. these stay on.. better than socks.. but not TOO tight as to cut off circulation or be uncomfortable (as far as I can tell). I've worn them for nearly 24 hours at a stretch a few times without issue). I can't stress enough just how great these are for wearing around the house and having to go out to put out the trash or other such thing. my foot is finally actually protected and comfortably..if these fit my highly specific needs, these will do you even better. I got one size higher due to having EEE super wide feet that can swell up due to my health issues and that was just the right size.. so the sizes are pretty spot on, as advertised. it's some type of super durable nylon with a sole. really good. highly recommend. can be worn with a sock or not. diabetic friendly as well. you can use your own custom inserts, but it comes with a pair already.
I really wanted to like these. I have odd feet for several reasons and they will only tolerate barefoot shoes. These are as advertised in that regard; flat, VERY thin sole, flexible, and pretty roomy. The fabric upper is comfortable without socks if you prefer that, and they breathe well. I was pleasantly surprised, though I think the sole is somewhat soft and will probably wear through rather quickly with any frequent use beyond errands and the like.Unfortunately, beyond that, they quickly became disappointing. I work retail and I am on my feet walking (pretty quickly) for 8 hours on my shift. Usually the first thing I do when getting new shoes it take out the insole, but I found the insoles in these surprisingly comfortable--they are padded, but something about the ventilated, somewhat firm foam didn't bother my feet or me. The problem is the things are somewhat slick, and they were bunching up at the back of my heel within an hour or so, and once they start bunching, there's no way to stop it. So I gave up on the insoles and took them out--turns out the inner sole's seams are a lot further inside the frame than the outside would suggest, so you can feel them under your foot. With socks I stopped noticing pretty quickly so it wasn't a huge problem, but they are somewhat rough so I imagine they would be a deal breaker for anyone who wants to go sockless.I was alright with them for a little bit after fixing the insole issue. However, my troubles did not stop there. After half a day of walking in them, I started to get bad pain on the ball of both feet--didn't quite blister, but was inflamed and swollen and quite painful by the end of the day. Upon examination, the inner sole has the classic white liner, but underneath that is just the sole material, but without the matte coating. The white fabric is super thin and wore off within the span of one day, exposing the slick sole material underneath, which was apparently causing just enough slide with my socks to cause friction damage. I also had an issue with the back of one shoe rubbing a spot on my ankle. So yeah. Really wanted to like them. If you plan to use the insoles or no insoles but with socks, and you're only using them around the house or for short trips out, they're probably fine. But any kind of prolonged walking is definitely going to be a recipe for pain. After trying 3+ pairs of cheap barefoot shoes on here to disastrous results, I think I'll just go back to my very well worn Xeros until I can afford to buy a new pair of those.
