I bought these for Christmas for my Mom who lives in a nursing home. I thought they were great when we got them. BUT...The bottoms have worn out already! The floors are all carpeted, so they were never worn outside or on hard floors. They lasted only about 6 weeks, and she doesn't wear them all the time.
I wear US ladies size 8 1/2 shoes. My review is based on owning three types of NuFoot indoor socks all in the size "large": Men's (really Unisex) bootie, Mary Jane and Betsy Lou. They fall in the the same order in terms of favorite to least favorite. The order turned out that way because I dislike a feeling of pressure on my toes and the Betsy Lou is snugger in the toe box than the other two versions I own. The silver snake color is what attracted me to this style as it is very fashionable and versatile. In order to check if I could make them more comfortable for me I tried a work around. I inserted tissue paper and a tennis ball into the toe box to stretch it a little. It seems to work as they feel a smidge more comfy in the toes. If you already have the ballet version and like how they fit you will also like how the Betsy Lou fits.
Actually purchased two paid by mistake but kept them gave one to my daughter in law, we use them to work out in at the gym and we both love them. Them are not made for outside wear but they are not sold for outside wear, we do our workouts, zumba and etc with them they are comfortable, lots better than bulky sneakers for the gym. When we wear these out we will order more. We both wear size 8 show and the medium fits us perfectly.
