COMFORT OF A SLIPPER, SUPPORT OF AN ORTHOTIC, VERSITILITY OF A HOUSE SHOE PowerStep® ArchWear™ Slipper will be sure to check off all the boxes this season! PowerStep ArchWear Slipper will provide you with the perfect combination of PowerStep's trusted arch support and stability, while staying warm and comfy all season long. The contoured footbed with built-in arch support and deeper heel cup provide increased stability, control and support while the cushioned midsole absorbs shock and impact to help reduce foot and leg fatigue. Feet with neutral arches naturally pronate when walking, where the feet and ankles roll slightly inward, placing pressure on the bigger toes and inside of foot. Neutral arches need stable, yet flexible arch support for shock absorption and proper alignment. By combining a cushioned midsole and the clinically proven PowerStep arch shape, the PowerStep ArchWear Slippers are a trusted solution to improve foot function, decrease arch pain, and help alleviate common foot conditions typically caused by mild to moderate pronation. FOR THE MOST COMFORTABLE FIT For first time PowerStep users or if you are new to orthotic shoes, a break-in period may be required. For the most comfort during this transition period only wear slippers a few hours a day until feet are accustomed to all day support and stability. ◈SPECIAL NOTE◈ Available in whole sizes only. Please size up to the next whole size if you are between sizes.

After waiting ten days for these Prime categorized slippers to arrive, I was eager to try them on and see if they did indeed offer up orthopedic support that would provide comfort for my plantar fasciitis. In the meantime, while waiting for these slippers to arrive, I ended up buying a pair of Sketcher slippers bc they were on sale for $35, which is a low price for Sketchers. The Sketchers arrived the next day, and I found them comfortable to wear, and they are also lined with fake fur similar to the Powerstep orthopedic slippers. My slipper situation provided the ideal opportunity to see if there was a noticeable difference between these two pairs of new slippers.Wearing socks that are thicker than normal socks, I placed a slipper from each brand on my feet. I definitely felt more orthopedic support in the Powerstep slippers over the Sketchers, but they are twice the price, so I would expect some noticeable benefit between the two brands. Both brands of slippers come with rubber soles that are begging you to wear them outside to run errands in pure comfort and in style. The Powersteps slippers have a more durable sole that will likely far out live the Sketchers.I will add that I’m an 11.5 show/sneaker size, and most often in slippers I’m a size 12 because vendors don’t offer an 11.5 size usually. Now I don’t recall ever having the slippers feel too big on me at size 12, but, as another reviewer noted, the Powersteps run a tad large, it seems, and I feel it a little loose, especially in the heel area, on the Powersteps. It’s not a lot and it’s not a dealbreaker either, but these slippers do run a little on the larger size, so you may want to keep that in mind when considering what size to purchase. I also imagine the slippers might stretch a little over time, so I will see if it becomes any type of issue with them staying on my feet.I’m getting ready to head out to do grocery shopping, and I’m wearing my Powersteps to the store. The slippers (I purchased the gray color) are nice looking, so I won’t have any issue wearing them out and about for errands.I cannot comment on durability obviously, but initial feelings are that this Powerstep slipper is a solid purchase if you are looking for slippers (or shoes) that will provide additional orthopedic support to problematic feet. At this point, I would recommend taking the plunge and buying them if you want really comfortable slippers. If I find the slippers not holding up well over the next few months, I will definitely update this review, so people know where they stand when they buy this brand.
I needed a house slipper that gave me the same support and comfort as my Work Out Shoes. I tried many in the past that had the terrible Memory Foam, but they did not have arch supports or a solid heel. This shoe fits my needs. It does have a bit of memory foam, but it is supported with a solid outsole, arch and heal, which makes a big difference in my back and knee comfort. Amazon recommended 9.5 because that is what I order via Amazon. I thought about that, but I also thought that a 9.5 would be perfect if I wore the shoe with no socks or with dress socks. When I come from the gym, I usually take off my work out shoes and don the slippers. The thick work out socks work best for a shoe that is a size larger and is a closed-back shoe. That is why ordered a size 10 and it is great.
I broke my ankle this past winger and when i started to walk again these slippers became my outdoor pair. They're rugged, comfortable, warm and helped me feel sure footed. I was sorfy summer came and i had to find something else to wear. Im a woman and these shoes did make me lokk like i was wearing enormous clod hoppers. I love them.
Hubby was in desperate need of new slippers. He works from home so he pretty much wears his 24/7. He said these are very sturdy and comfortable. He said one shoe was rubbing on his heel a bit and that his socks bunch up a bit. And he said it makes his feet sweaty so his socks smell. Men have the weirdest complaints lol. Anyway, I’m thinking it’s still a good pair of slippers! We shall see how they hold up.
My husband loves the fit and feel of these slippers. They give his feet the support they need even while he is wearing slippers. Highly recommend especially if you have foot problems.
This is what these look like after 1 month of wearing them! BUYER BEWARE! That’s a lot of money for a month worth of wear! Terrible product!!!
I’m size 11; solid, no question. Bought 12, based on reports that they run small. Turns out they were still too small, so I ordered 13. They’re too big! I can make them work, but they feel sloppy. Support is good. If it weren’t for that, which I need to keep plantar fasciitis at bay, I’d drop kick these puppies. So, buyer beware on sizing.
Comfortable, easy to adjust, just buy them you'll love them
