These shoes are adorable and I waited a long time to buy them especially because my size was never in stock. But the sizing on them is completely off- this goes for the men's and women's version of these as well. These are supposedly in standard men's sizing, which you should be able to easily convert to women's (like converse etc.) but they run very large for the size if you do this. Luckily I was able to try them on in a store once so I was able to learn this beforehand, but size WAY DOWN in these if you are a woman. For example, I am usually a size 7.5/8 in women's shoes, which should convert to about a size 6 men's, but if you do this you'll find that the shoes are way too big (about 2 sizes maybe). I had to basically look for either a women's size 7 in these or a men's 5.5, neither of which was ever in stock either here or anywhere else I looked online. So I also expanded the search to the corresponding "big kids" size which is about the same conversion as to men's.So finally on a random day, I found that they had a big kids size 5.5 in stock (which would be my corresponding size) and quickly ordered them (plus they were cheaper!). I expected them to fit, as I had tried them on in a store and knew the sizing conversions, but I was really disappointed that these were slightly too small! I don't know if it's the pair I received, or their children's sizing runs more "true to size" than their adult versions, but they are definitely at least a half size too small, which was so disappointing! I decided to keep them in hopes that they stretch out with wear (and I wore thick socks with them around the house to "break them in" and it did seem to work a bit, so I'm hoping if I do this more than the one time, they will stretch to fit). Another possibility could always be that they are not a genuine product, which I am always skeptical about with these in-demand type shoes. Mine does have a different insole that is labeled "Ortholite" and a tag on one of the shoes describes the Ortholite insole as being lighter and more moisture-wicking than the regular insoles, but my sister's shoes which she bought at a big name retailer in store do not have these insoles. So either it is just in the children's version of these, or it could indicate I received a counterfeit product. I haven't bothered to research more on the insoles because other than that, they do seem to be genuine, and for the lower price I paid for the children's version, I think these are the best I am going to get.So just beware of the sizing because it is definitely weird- maybe even try them on in a store if possible before buying- because the size conversions I found not to be accurate for these at all and even more so converting between the children's and adult versions of these sneakers. Hopefully with more consistent wear, especially once it becomes fall, my shoes will stretch/mold to fit better and then I would give these sneakers 5 stars (especially if you are an adult like me and like the lower children's price).UPDATE: I recently wore the shoes out all day since "breaking them in" with thick socks around the house, and they fit really nicely! Perfect fit, and enough room for my feet/toes, so I'm guessing the leather stretches significantly with wear. I'm so happy with my purchase, as they are adorable, very comfortable, and I was able to get them at a good price versus the normal ~$90 these go for. Do not hesitate to buy these if they are available in your size!!!
As you can see, I have the white addidas and those are 4 years old so they don't owe me anything. I keep them looking super white with white shoe polish. Been trying to get the black, but will not pay $170 before tax. The white ones I have are kids size 5 1/2. I did my research, ladies with tiny feet size 7 womens will equal to 5 1/2 and it worked. Look at that! They're beautiful, the black!
Good quality and stylish with the traditional adidas 3 stripes.
These are exactly what you expect. Size, fit, wear, just right. Would definitely recommend.
I bought a pair last year that were a boys size 5 and they were a little too tight and I am a woman size 7 or 7.5 so I bought a size boys 5.5 and they fit well a little loose but better than the size 5! Buy them you won't regret it!!
This is a classic shoe... can't go wrong with them.
My daughters are extremely picky about their shoes. I purchased a pair for my 10 year-old and my oldest daughter (17 years-old) loved them so much she asked for a pair. These sneakers are adorable, and should hold up well. The quality and value are remarkable. Seriously, I only paid $23.80 for this pair of shoes. I have paid a lot more for lesser quality shoes. The pair I purchased fit both my girls perfectly and both described the shoes as comfortable. Yes, my girls wear the same size shoe. My youngest has big feet for her age, while my oldest has small petite feet. Neither of my girls found the shoes too tight in the width or toe area. They both love this pair of shoes.
i got a size 5.5 in kids and they fit perfect. if you’re familiar with nike sizing it’s the exact same so in the second pic i compared it to my air forces that are also in kids size 5.5. also they are definitely real and even came in an adidas box. also the shopping was RLY FAST they came in like 2 days.
