Both lightweight and flexible, the GEL-GAME™ 9 PICKLEBALL shoe is versatile for all-court players. Preserving its excellent support properties, our focus this season was to improve the shoe’s ventilation and flexibility. Featuring an open mesh design on the upper to improve airflow and keep feet cool, this shoe is complemented with synthetic leather overlays and a PU (polyurethane) film that offers improved stability when making abrupt transitions. The TRUSSTIC technology in the midsole generates better stability on the court. At the same time, the new tooling combines an EVA midsole foam with GEL technology cushioning in the forefoot to increase shock absorption. Additionally, the improved outsole offers better flexibility and a more durable design.

The ORANGE color is eye catching, which I'm good with. The size is similar to my other Asics shoes, BUT, it does seem to be a little narrower in the arch, but gives ample toe space. I guess I'm not surprised since you want better support for cutting in pickle ball. I've worn the shoes around the house to break them in and they feel good. I can't wait to hit the courts with them on. My new nickname shall be, ORANCE CRUSH.I've now worn these for over a month, 4+ matches and I'm happy. They give great grip on the court and they are comfortable, they seem to work with my foot contour perfectly. I've always been an Asics fan, and that trend continues with these shoes.
Looked huge on feet, runs narrow for a man’s show. I’m a size 9.5 woman’s, ordered men’s 8.They already were making my feet look huge. I didn’t wanna go up another outside, so I return them.
These may be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. For the price, they are more comfortable than my more expensive pickleball shoes. I had Plantar Fasciitis, and my podiatrist recommended either these or Brooks. I find these as comfortable, yet far more affordable.
Pickleball requires a lot of quick stops and starts. These shoes are just not designed well for the sport they were intended for. I have Asics for tennis and volleyball both of which I really like and are really comfortable and supportive but these pickleball shoes are too high at the heal, don't have enough arch support and are pointed at the toe box which smashes the toes when you stop real hard. I can't wear them. With all the foot problems pickleball players are having its really important to have shoes that don't make the problem worse. I've switched to some Sketchers (first time in my life) and really like them. Proof's in the pudding and my feet don't hurt after playing in them.
I bought these shoes for playing pickleball the fit was good right out of the boxIf you like a bight color shoes these are for you
The shoes look amazing and are very well made, tried them on and seems a tiny bit big but that was good for hot days and swelling feet. Played in them and immediately slammed my toes into the front. Continued to play, tightened up the laces and for some reason my feet just keep sliding around in them no matter how tight i tie them. I am super bummed as I love the shoes. I will not be able to play Pickleball in them again. Hopefully you will have more luck than I. May want to order at least a half size smaller than usual.
Best shoes I have ever had.
