I swore I’d never put Velcro shoes on my kid. But...then you become a parent of a squirrelly 3 year old and you get tired of it taking 20 minutes to put on his shoes...and you buy Velcro shoes. These are the most attractive Velcro shoes out there, and Amazon by FAR had the best price! My son has flat arches and a high instep. Shoes with any kind of lifted arch hurt his feet, and any shoes that don’t have ties (or Velcro in this case) to loosen won’t fit on his impossibly “tall” foot. Converse All Stars have been our go to shoe since he started walking. The quality is fabulous, they happen to be SUPER fashionable right now, and they fit well for quite a long time.As you can see, they don’t come in half sizes so go up! They will be a bit big, but they tighten well and the rubber toe keeps dragged toes in check until kiddo grows into them. And it makes them last twice as long as half sized shoes! We’ll buy Converse All Stars forever...but as soon as he can tie we’re going back to laces. :)
We bought these just for extra shoes for our son to wear. He usually wears very flexible Nikes for foot support but these fit for more casual outfits. Even if you order a size bigger, the velcro straps can be tightened to make a tighter fit. Initially when he walked in them, he walked a little funny (duck walk) but he then broke them in (in about 2-3 weeks with maybe 2x wearing a week) and he walks in them fine now. Also really easy to slip on and off. Would buy again in the future!
A birthday gift for my granddaughter & I love them💛
Bought for my 3yo in September/October. Barely look used, yet, he wears them daily. He wears them to preschool, outside to play in, and has even used them for puddle jumping. The shoes are holding up perfectly. No rips, stains, or issues. Easy for him to put on himself due to the easy slip on and velcro. These shoes go with just about everything. Jeans, dress pants, sweats.I will continue to buy these as my son's feet grow. Highly recommend.
Never had an issue with quality from Converse. I myself, 37 year old female, have been wearing them for years as well as my little brother and now his daughter. She calls these her pink chucks and is always asking for them. This is her third pair of these shoes as she doesn't understand when she outgrows them. Just before we bought her size 7's she was trying to put her lace up pink converse from when she was one. Now in a size 8. Worth the price for active kids! They really hold up.We got the velcro ones because she started day care and tripping on untied laces was a concern. She loves the velcro and won't let anyone else help her when putting them on lol. Very secure velcro.
These were so cheap and fit my baby boy so well! We love these shoes!
I bought these for my 3 year old grandson. I love Converse sneakers for myself so I thought why not get a pair for my grandson!? They look great and they are just so cool! He likes them as well and finds them comfortable and fairly easy to get on and off. He still needs help getting them on, though.
My 2 yr old goes through shoes every few weeks by tearing up the toes. He doesn't drag his feet when he walks so we can't figure out what's happening at preschool, but we've tried just about everything from expensive skater shoes to cheap "okay, we'll just keep buying shoes" approach. This is our last hope, and it seems to be working. So far he's worn them for a week, and other than a couple of scuffs, they seem to be holding up well. Fingers crossed.
