Absolutely love the design, the feel, and the ease of putting them on/taking them off. My son is autistic and can’t tie his shoe. I want him to be able to put his own shoes on and didn’t want to sacrifice comfort or style either. This show checks off every box! I ordered these for my son and cannot get over how cute they are! They arrived in perfect condition too. May order myself a pair soon!
Seems sturdy but the velcro tab is messed up. Looks like someone tried pulling tab up to unvelcro, and top layer ripped up. Instead of it coming apart at velcro, the top tab split apart. Gotta try to re-adhere it together.
I buy DC shoes for my disabled daughter. She wear’s orthotics on her feet & lower legs. These shoes fit over them when taking out some stitching. They give her a flat sole & good high top ankle support while walking. Her feet are small & the size 5 1/2 are big enough to fit over her orthotics. We ordered the black with mint green. It’s a nice color combo for a young adult!
