PUMA Speeder Illuminescent V Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid),White/New Navy/Strong Blue,4 M US Toddler

I originally saw my sister had Puma sneaker for her toddler girl. she loved them so I wanted to buy for my toddler son. I found these cute light up Pumas here in Amazon so I didn't hesitate buying two pairs. One I bought so that he could wear right away and the other a size larger. So far we have used both sizes and they are easy to put on and look amazingly well made. I didn't have a problem washing them and the batteries haven't gone bad during washing. There is no place to replace the battery so if you plan on keeping them as a "hand me down" then probably the batteries will not last that long. So far the batteries have lasted for my toddlers growth. what I like about this design is that its more slim side. I don't like the chunky sneakers out there, and all the licensed figures on the sneakers. These ones feel more like the slimmer European designs. I am coming back to amazon to purchase my pair because they have more color choices. I checked at my local Nordstrom and they carry only one color. That shows you how happy I am with these sneakers.

My 16mo loves these! We had to order a size up (should have payed more attention to the reviews). They do run small! But now we have a pair which fits and she loves looking at the blinking lights when we first put them on. Thankfully, she gets distracted with whatever else is going on and doesn't stare at the flashing puma too long to start tripping! They appear quite sturdy and comfortable, though took a few times to break them in and not leave small marks around her ankles (did a few hours at a time for a few days before sending her to daycare with them). I have a feeling they will hold up until she outgrows them.

Finally - a light up shoe that's not completely hideous!My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with light up shoes, and is very particular about her clothes - nothing girly! A lot of light up shoes are licensed apparel, so our options are mostly Cars, Spiderman, etc. She loves them, I can't stand them.But, these shoes we can both agree on. On one side, the Puma logo lights up in the shape of his skeleton. Even I thought it was cool. We purchased the royal blue with lime green - color was as expected.Some other reviews said the shoes are stiff - I do agree with this. But, I think they'll loosen up as she wears them, and she hasn't complained about it. She actually said they help her to run faster.Also, A LOT of reviews say size up, and I AGREE. My daughter had been wearing a size 10, but probably needed a 10.5 or 11. I purchased the 12, and I'm so glad I did. They fit perfectly. Go up one size and you should be fine.

I got these for my 6-year old daughter in the first gradePros:My favorite feature is that the puma on the side lights up when you walk. Also, when it lights up, you can see that there is a skeleton (not gory) of the puma back lighted. I didn't expect it but it is definitely cool!My daughter absolutely loves the purple and pink color of the shoesThe bottom/heel of the shoe is different then a traditional shoe. Not an expert at all, but my daughter tells me she likes walking in them and feels like she can go faster in themThe materials of the shoe appear very well made. My daughter is not nice to shoes at all. She's had these for over a month and they still look pretty new.My daughter usually squishes down the back of the shoe, but has not been able to do it so far.ConsThe lights in the shoe stopped working a month after purchasing. I don't know how long they were supposed to last. My daughter told me she's bummed they stopped working. Since they were an unexpected surprise, and not why I bought them, I couldn't see lowering my rating more then one star

I bought these for my 5 year old daughter and she likes them, which is a relief because she can be very picky about shoes. They seem to fit her very well and were not too tight. Just want to point out that if you child has a wider foot, these do seem a bit more narrow than normal. The lights are a really cool feature for kids, as the whole cat on the side of the shoe lights up whenever you step. The price on these shoes is really good and you probably can't go wrong with these. Like I said, just watch out if you child has wider feet and if your child'c school has dress code rules about lighted shoes (as ours does) that might deter you from buying these.

My son LOVES his PUMA light up shoes!! They are easy to get on and off. We have had the shoes for about 5 months so far and my son wears them almost everyday, he is 5 and very active. The shoes have held up great and still are looking like new. We purchased them in our sons normal size.. but realized they run small (which we read after we got them). Amazon quickly shipped out the next size up and we've been happy with them. My son wanted light up shoes, but the only ones we could ever find were the ones with cartoon characters on them.. thank goodness we found these. The light up actually is quite bright on the shoes, and it shows up as a puma skeleton when he steps.. pretty rad!

We bought these for our four year old son last year and he is still wearing them. (they were a little bit big for him when we bought them) Pumas have been the best shoes for him, but these are not our favorite. The biggest problem with them is that he has a narrow foot, but the shoe is pretty wide at the heel. They don't fall off of him, but they're a lot more bulky around the heel than the other Pumas he's had. I think this makes them less comfortable for him than they should be.One other minor disappointment is that the green color has scraped or worn off the light-up puma emblems pretty easily. They haven't worn as well as most of the Pumas we've had.For those of you who are wondering, they came through a gentle wash cycle just fine. We've done it twice without harming the flashy puma.
