I've been buying Saucony Ride Sneakers for my son for most of his walking life. He's a very active three year old and these shoes hold up. He loves riding the tricycles at daycare and even with using the tips of his toes as brakes, these shoes stay intact! We rotate between these and another pair and they last until he grows to the next size. He has never complained about being uncomfortable and even sighs and says his toes are cozy when we slip his Rides on. We always choose wide because he has wide feet. The only con I can think of is on one of his pairs of Rides the velcro got fuzzy just before he grew out of them. They still worked fine we just had to wiggle the strap to get it to stay.By the time my son has grown out of the shoes we give them to a friend for her son, who's about a year younger than my son. He has a brace on one of his feet and these Rides fit perfectly! The shoes also last until he grows out of them and he's super rough on shoes.Overall, we're super happy and will continue to purchase these until my son develops an opinion on shoe styles.
I started buying this brand and specifically, this line when my son started walking. He has extra wide feet and finding shoes that fit him is a struggle. These shoes were highly recommended by the owner of a stride-rite store. This is now my 5th or 6th pair and they continue to be my favorite shoe for both my son and daughter. Besides the fact that they are one of few shoes that come in wide and extra wide, they are stylish, durable, easily cleanable and seem to be very comfortable for my kids. I have bought a couple of other brands of tennis shoe but have never been as happy with them. I continue to buy new pairs of these as my kids outgrow them (or after my dog chews them up). I highly recommend them!
We had this shoe for a previous grandchild. This is a great sneaker for a 8-10 month old learning to walk. The tip of the shoe works well with crawling. It helps with transition to stand and offers great support. Our grandson wears braces for club foot correction and this shoe is great for the 8-10 hours during the day walking. Great outside shoe. The sole is not slippery from the start. Break in time is quick due to the nice tie box. Highly recommend.
My 3-yo wore this every day to preschool. She has wide feet but she looked very comfortable wearing it. Once she used it during potty training, and I washed it using the washing machine. They looked like new and it didn't shrink or sort of like many other shoes did. I didn't put it in the dryer though, and I don't think we are supposed to anyway. 😛
My son has been wearing these shoes for a couple of months. They were a good purchase. I was so happy to find these shoes in a wide width at a very reasonable price. These have been easy to get on and off his feet. They have good traction, which is important for an active toddler, and they have held up well. I'm planning to get another pair like these when he's ready to go up a size.
We always get our boys Saucony brand shoes. They’re a great fit and they seem to be comfortable for their feet. For what they do, they’re super durable and we only really have to replace a pair when they outgrow them, or they’d last a lot longer.
This shoe looks great, has a nice flexible sole. It was just way too small, even though I did measure my child’s foot before purchasing
Colors are fabulous but I am biased! My daughter gets compliments on these shoes all the time. Very lightweight and easy to put on and take off.
