We purchased these in a Little Kid 3W for my 5-year old and they fit very well. While they are wide enough, they are a little hard for him to put on - the opening is a bit narrow/snug. But he doesn't complain of any discomfort. We've had them for a few months now and they are holding up wonderfully!
Good quality shoes. Bought my son Nike’s and within 3months they were destroyed, I’ve always have good experience with stride rite!
I love the shoes but I honestly have to say that the quality it’s really poor. On a school year I have to buy 3 pair of shoes of this ones, because they brake and look awful on the outside. Last year I bought a pair on March, then on August and the last one on October , and here I am, buying another pair and they are expensive shoes, so they should make them better.
I need to return the Collin sneaker. It doesn't fit and the other stride sneaker fit very well so I will buy another color in the same style. Please send return label - was out of country Sept 2019. Can support with airline documentation if needed. thanks
Unlike past reviews say the shoes did not have fabric on the bottom and did come in a box.But if your child dosent have thin feet these may not fit. My son has very thin and narrow feet and it was a chore getting them on. Once on they fit very well and after wearing a few times have stretched out enough that they are not as hard to get on. Overall pleased.
These shoes are very well made, as is usual for stride rite. They are slippery, but in my opinion, not a reason for a bad review. my child is autistic and walks and bounces on his toes everywhere he goes! stride right and saucony seem to be the best shoes for him! there is a VERY THIN layer (like a sticker) of felt on the toe, each side of the arch but not the middle, and back of the heel of the sole of the shoe. Contact portions (where the foot presses and meets with the walking surfaces) are not covered with the felt. but if you have a child who doesn't walk but heel or toe steps, and you feel like it would be evil for your child to slip around a teensy bit, then you could do what I did. I used a pedicure file (emery board) to scuff up those felted strips. seriously, took my less than a minute per shoe... or if that is too laborious or time consuming for you, then you can take your kiddo out on the concrete and let them play it out for a while! That should rub the felt off enough to stop the sliding around.
My 22 month old boy is a already a size 8W...he has wide feet especially in the toe areas. Sneakers fit well. I love the insoles because it’s not stiff. My son sometimes walk on balls of feet and I can see sole of shoe complying to his movements. Also love the Velcro closure- easy to put on and take off on a wiggling toddler
They were very hard to put on his feet. They are cute and fit him well once I got them on his feet.
