My 7 year old son has wide feet with high arches. Finding shoes that fit him is next to impossible. I ordered these the next half size up and they fit him wonderfully. He could actually get his foot into them!
Just arrived today although my Grandson will not get them till May for his Birthday. I opened them just to check that they looked and had no problems with them. I bought them a size big so he will have plenty of room for summer and into starting school. I was really surprised by the appearance of them. They have really tuff material on them and a really good sole. I have been getting shoes at Walmart because they wear out so quick I ordered them on here. I think these will last a good long time. They are a really good looking shoe.
When looking for shoes for my son I always go with stride rite. You can go to the stride rite website and print out a sizing template to measure your child’s feet so you make sure you are ordering the correct size.
I have always bought stride rite for my grandson. He grows out of them and they are still in good shape. Look good and has good support.
I have always pay extra for Stride Rite believing it to be of superior quality. The tread or bottom of the shoe started to tear away immediately. It was like my son was wearing a flip flop as the black bottom of the shoe slowly ripped more and more off from the sole. It made it dangerous for our son to walk in them. We are use to normal wear and tear in kids shoes, but this was obviously a defective product. I have had to pay extra to take the shoes to a cobbler and it looks like he might not be able to repair them. Such a waste of money. I will think twice before buying Stride Rite again! Look elsewhere for a shoe for your toddler, this is not the one to buy.
This brand has always been great. Good quality and durable. This is the first time that I am encountering problems with this shoes after only 6 weeks. One of the velcro straps is not working anymore which makes the shoes unusable. I washed them once and I also made sure they was nothing attached to the velcro.
Best fitting sneaker we've found for our great grandson. His high instep and low heel fit are important and hard to find in other sneakers.
These shoes still look great after weeks of constant wear by a very active toddler. Comfortable fit for wide feet. Recommend this brand and this model.
