Stride Rite has long been the best shoes for my kids. They all have narrower feet and love how comfy these basic shoes are. My 7 year old refuses to wear anything else. My 5 year old loves these shoes which have held up very well over the past few months. She loves the lights and colors and the navy keeps them from looking dirty.
It’s our go-to shoe. It’s comfortable and it goes well with just about anything she wears. It’s also east for her to put on and it hides the dirt really well since it’s black.
My 7YO daughter loves these shoes. They are vibrant, in your face pink. Kind of a mix between neon pink and hot pink. Not an obnoxious color but definitely bright. They are the usual Stride Rite quality, I expect them to last until she outgrows them with use several times a week. Daughter says they are very comfortable and make her run faster. 😉
These shoes are great and so worth what I paid for them. Not only are they extremely durable and have lasted a long time with rough play by my toddler, but also have seemed to be very comfortable for my toddler! I love how it has ample space in the toe box area allowing toddler toes to properly spread and toe box area also has a flexible sole. Finally, in most light up shoes the lights always seems to burn out within a few days or weeks but with these after months of play the lights are still working like new. The only opinion I can't give is on how these shoes turn of after machine wash, I never machine wash shoes I also wash by hand and by hand wash I've had no problem with the shoes afterwards.If you're thinking about buying these I would just do it, it was worth the purchase for me.
Update 2: Stride Rite immediately emailed me back and issued a full credit for a replacement shoe. This shoe may have been defective or possibly a design flaw, but I am very happy with their policy to stand by the quality of their shoes and make it right.Update: My son has only worn these for three months and they already have holes in the upper layer. For $60 I expected more longevity.My 3 year old loves these shoes. Very comfortable, quality, durable so far, and he likes that they light up.
Daughter has been wearing this brand/style for years. They look nice for about a month and then the toes wear down and are white instead of pink. I’d say plan to buy another pair after 2 months. Or buy 2 pairs at the same time.

Really easy for kids with mild sensory issues. I can’t ever get shoes and these fit perfectly on the first try with no issues since. I also like that they don’t have to be tied. As sized go up the shoe straps tend to disappear and I still need them and will need them for a long while.
