After searching for shoes that meets our son's school uniform guidelines in stores without much luck, we turned to Amazon and found these shoes. They did not disappoint! Our son is rough with shoes but these have held up so far and I expect them to not get worn out as fast as other brands we have tried. They are sturdy and comfortable. Will definitely purchase again in the future especially with the affordable price!
We are starting week three of kindergarten and these still look great! Most white sneaks are dirty looking after the first or second day! They are easily wiped down, fit great and my daughter thinks they are comfy! I ordered her normal size and they fit nicely. Great buy!**update** These are still in great shape- super easy to wipe down when needed and a comfy fit for my little one.
We got these about a week ago for our son who is in pre-school. They seem to be sturdy and fit as expected, which is a relief since he needs wide widths. So far so good. A decent way to move him out of velcro and into shoelaces. My only complaint so far is that they cost about three times as much as the velcro closure shoes we were getting him before. I guess time will tell if they were worth the extra investment, but it's too soon to say that at this point.
We love these shoes and get them in different sizes for my son's tennis classes. They have good arch support, look nice and hold up relatively well (although he exclusively uses them for the court so not sure how they would be on a daily use basis). I would have preferred the velcro but this option was so much cheaper that it was hard to resist! Also, hard to find extra wide shoes for my son so Stride Rite is a favorite for our family.
Pros - 1. nice looking shoe, 2. seems to be durable, 3. flexible in the toe area, 4. good priceCons - 1. zero shock absorption (not good for running), 2. the "leather" upper might have traces of leather, but it is by and large sythnetic and not breathable.
These are great. Great deal, fit, comfort... I just bought an expensive pair of school shoes for my son a month before and they fell apart at the soles in weeks. These were half the price and they are going to last. Really, really well made
These shoes are all black which is perfect for my son's uniform requirements for school. These are sturdy and have good cushion in the sole. I ordered his exact size and they fit perfect. They are not frayed. They do not have any factory problems. I would recommend these so far. When he starts wearing them to kindergarten I will see how well they hold up to the carpeting there and update.
These are adequate shoes for my 10 year old Autistic son who needs Extra Wide shoes. To be quite honest there isn't too many styles available for a 5.5XW in boys so it is rather frustrating. They are neutral and pair with anything. My only complaint is how quickly they wear out for the price but that seems to be the trend with him. These lasted 2 months before the toe stitching was tearing away from the top of the shoe. However, it is what it is. I can buy $10 shoes elsewhere and have him tear them up in a week or buy $40 shoes and have them last two months. I just wish that some of these shoe manufacturers could make a shoe that could stand up to an Autistic kid with a heavy walk. Of course, then they would make less money if they lasted. Which explains why the quality of so many things have gone down in the past 20 years. But for the average kid, I imagine these could hold up for at least 5 or 6 months, and that is the only reason why I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars, as oppose to 3 out of 5.
