Stride Rite Soft Motion Bambi Sneaker (Infant/Toddler),White/Pink,3.5 XW US Toddler

I absolutely love these shoes. I have an 18 month old baby girl who is on the small side, she's about 22 lbs. The 4W fit perfectly, they still had the perfect amount of room that they fit good with and without socks. They truly are close to bare feet as possible. The material is so flexible, it moves with your child's every movement. They are very well made. My daughter like walking on tippy toes and she's able to do that in these shoes b/c it gives her that flexibility at the toes.. there is nothing she can't do in them. They are so light weight so it doesn't weigh down her feet. She has fallen asleep during the day sometimes with the shoes on and they don't bother her, she looks comfy so I don't bother her sleep by taking off her shoes. Oh and I love that they are straps and not laces... at that age, laces are torture. This is the second pair I have bought.. I never had tried stride rite with my other 2 kids... sigh... wish I had.. but I love them so much I still have time to get my son a pair.. he's 3.. so hopefully he'll like them as much as his baby sister and I.

My daughter had these shoes for a few months and wore them several times a week. My daughter is almost 24 months and moderately active. She loved to wear these shoes and they are very flexible, which is something I look for in shoes for her at this age as she was still a clumsy walker and needed a full range of foot motion. These shoes met the Stride Rite standard that I am accustomed to. They are very durable and she only stopped wearing them because she recently outgrew them. These were easy to get on and to secure with the closure. I also liked the color as it's a soft white and pink. The only drawback to these shoes it that they are quite slippery on snow. I believe this is due to the sole being more of a soft rubber.

I love these! My daughter hated wearing shoes but seemed to like these for her first shoe! We did prime wardrobe to find the perfect size and they fit very true to size. I love the soft motion shoes because I’m all for soft bottoms versus hard soles for early walkers.

We love Stride Rite shoes. They are too big right now, we purchased 5.5 w to wear this fall/ winter. We used the printable measuring guide from stride rite's website to determine her current size and selected a size up. I noticed the soles of the shoe don't have as much support as other stride rite styles we have purchased in the past and deducted a star for this reason. I am glad there is a Velcro closure and we won't have to retie her shoes over and over. The price was comparable or less than other websites and we were happy for prime 2 day shipping. The shoes were packed in the stride rite shoe box inside of a white plastic mail bag. They were delivered promptly. My daughter will love the butterfly design on the side. One reviewer mention mold on the sole of the shoe and that has not happened with our shoes yet.

My 18 month grand daughter loved her shoes! She has always been difficult to fit because she has a wide foot and usually takes her shoes off when we attempt to have her wear shoes. These Stride Rite shoes are so soft, and are wide enough in all areas of her foot that she has been wearing them all day. I raised seven children that wore Stride Rites and I also purchased them for two grandchildren. I am still very pleased with the quality of the shoes. They are soft on the outside as well as comfy on the inside. The design and stitching are excellent. Best of all baby keeps them on her feet!! This grandma will be buying her another pair of shoes when she outgrows these.

These were the perfect shoes for the first "real" pair of shoes for my daughter. I got them because this stage of Stride Rite shoe is good for new walkers. These fit my daughter well and didn't cause her to have any extra stumbles or trouble with her footing. I have to keep them out of her reach because she always wants to grab them, try to put them on, and go somewhere. I take that to mean that they're comfortable for her.The upper portion is very soft. The bottom of the shoe is flexible and rubbery, so it seems to provide good traction/grip while also having enough give for a new walker. The velcro closure is nice because you don't have to deal with laces coming undone. I didn't have trouble getting the shoes on -- just pull the tongue forward a little bit to slide the foot in.Style-wise, I like that the shoes were mostly white with just a little pink, so they look feminine but don't clash too much with non-pink clothes.Overall, I'd highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a pair for a beginning walker. I'd buy these again in a bigger size if my daughter weren't ready for the next stage of shoe.

Ordered up a half size based on other reviews here and I would say the shoe is a tad bit bigger than I expected..but just a bit. My baby wears a 5.5 wide in stride rite shoes and I compared this shoe (ordered it in a 6 wide) to another 5.5 wide shoe and it was bigger by a 1/4 inch to the other 5.5 wide. So I would say it is not a full half size bigger...I think I may order a 5.5 wide and see how it compares to the 6 wide. Currently the 6 wide is a bit too large on my baby...easily a full thumbs width too large. So maybe for my child the correct 5.5 wide would have been fine and I didn't need to really size up in this particular shoe. However this is a very cute shoe!

LO has wider feet and so the fact that Stride Rite offers the wider sizes is super! These have just the right amount of space needed for baby feet in shoes. "Arch support" is weird thing Amazon asked for - shouldn't apply to baby shoes since they're literally supposed to be flat-footed still. These seem to break in quickly and have the "soft sole" for lots of contact between new walkers and the ground (which you want!) so they can really work on that balance. Love these for kiddos and always recommend them! 100% WORTH the price for sure.
