While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions, they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high-performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin boots are different than most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole are molded to the base in one continuous process. The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. I like the look. I like the feel. I like the easy on and off and will use for walking and whatever snow time I may spend. The boots are light enough and not so bulky and makes driving pretty good. Length in size is very close. I have wide feet and didn't see anything wider. I wore them in the house for 3-4 hours. I think the leather will give a little and one foot fit great but old Bunion foot was tight. I gave a 5 star anticipating it will stretch slightly with use. I feel it is a good value.
Very well made, Warm & Really comfortable. I have a narrow foot & wear a size 10. I ordered a size 10 and the perfect. I typically wear a size 10 in running shoes and size 10 in Asolo 535 fit perfect. I'm glad I bought these. They will be great in the cold North Dakota winters. I would highly recommend any Baffin shoe from what I have experienced. I just bought a pair of Baffin base camp booties. Also Great and very warm.
Best for the price
I wear a size 13, have never needed to buy any shoe nor boot a different size; these in size 13 were tight, 14 are perfect. (regular socks, not even thick winter socks) So, I recommend getting a size up.That said, very comfy, warm boots!
My husband likes luxury goods but I like things that are designed well and function well without luxury branding. These, amazingly, fit the bill. He evens wears them in NYC among all the high-priced attorneys he works around. They look good when he's shoveling snow and when he's dressed in a sport jacket and sweater for meetings. Loves to wear them all day and also good to put on quick to get the FedX packages.
prefect buy for winter conditions in my state, great traction . bought these when I'm not wondering around in the wild. these are used for on the grid, fit prefect and are very warm. In my state ALL people take their shoe or boots off before entering someones house. these work great!
Had to return because husband said it hurt the top of his foot after wearing it around the house.
I love these boots but the quality keeps declining. I would buy a pair every two years then once a year. My last two pairs haven’t lasted 6 months. I don’t know what the issue is but I won’t be buying a new pair of boots every six months. I’m moving onto a new brand.
