These were a Christmas gift for my daughter and she says they fit true to size and are very warm and cozy.

If you could give these boots six stars I would. Number one, they are WARM. Here in Connecticut we experience damp cold which is especially miserable for those of us with circulatory problems. Yet, if I put these boots on while my feet are warm, they will stay warm for as long as I wear them. Miraculous! I ordered my size, and when I put them on for the first time they fit PERFECTLY. It actually brought a smile to my face. It was as if someone had made them just for me! Also, they are attractive, unlike UGG boots, which are also very warm but look like they are styled after the Ice Age. Too, they arrive waterproofed. I have not tried slogging through any puddles, and I'm not likely todo so. But I have warn them when it's wet outside and my feet stay dry. Heavenly! The soles have good traction, very important here where sudden freezes can happen--mist, fog, and rain can suddenly turn to a sheet of ice. Very dangerous!

The boots I received are real shearling, with a shearling inner sole. They are quite a bit stiffer than comparable brands, which I like, more like a boot than a big slipper. The outer sole is also a good deal more rough, giving better traction on ice -- the last couple of times I went bottoms up on the ice, I was wearing the competitor's useless soles. The boots are surprisingly light weight, for real shearling. There is a somewhat chemical smell, I'm assuming because of the waterproofing, but it is not particularly obnoxious. I wear them both with light socks and without, and they are comfortable and easy to walk in, though not particularly supportive. The construction seems robust.I thought the little tabs would allow easy entry, but the tabs are only for decoration, the boots do not open at the sides. However, the fit is fine -- i have very fat feet, very high insteps, very big ankles, and I can get them on and off just fine. I did buy a 1/2 size longer than I usually wear, but I also usually wear a ww, and these are M, and are plenty comfortable, though the heel is a little big.I have worn them in ice and a bit of water, and the water proofing seems fine, but I have not tried to wading in them.These are a good buy, and I am pleased with my purchase

It took me a long time to finally picked this one. I have small but wide feet and a bunion. So, buying shoes online is my last resort. I’m glad I took my time researching because I’m really happy with my decision. This is definitely wide and easy to take it on and off. With soft Ns warm socks, it’s like heaven

They are just wonderful. Extremely comfortable, keep my feet warm all the time. They look beautiful and are great for walking.

Have bought bear paws for a long time they last a long time, they are warm, and they are waterproof.

We have stained concrete floors in our home which can get pretty cold even here in the south. I wear them only in the house as beefed up slippers. They look great and are very comfortable. I ordered my regular size and they still fit great with winter socks. I have owned both BearPaw and Uggs with no problems with either so I go with the value you get with the BearPaw at half the price.
