LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Being a first time buyer of Bogs, I was a littler nervous to try something new. These are my "go to" boots in the winter. I am a dog walker and need something I can slip on quickly yet keep my feet warm. Living in CT, its cold and wet in the winter months. Being only 5'1, I love the shorter boot and the fact that they pull on is the BEST quality of all. Easy on, easy off. Couldn't ask for more from these. I will say they do DO RUN LARGE. I am normally a 6.5 or 7. I ordered these first in a size 8 because many of the reviews said they run small. I didn't find that to be true at all. The 8 was way too big for me. They happily exchanged my boots for a 7 with not problem at all. I even printed everything from home. Super easy. The size 7 fit like a glove for me. I wear these practically every single day if its snowy or wet outside and in temps between 20-50 degrees and have not had any issues with cold feet. Will probably always order from the company in the future.
A very well made heavy boot. Not super shiny like you'd expect, but the comfort of this boot makes up for it. More room Than expected around the lower part of the calf. This is a pleasant surprise. A ever so slight snug fit as you're putting your foot in, but then it gets to the shoe part and there is a nice amount of room. I am not a sock person, so there is more than enough room for my feet without being too roomy. I could easily wear a medium grade sock if I had to and still have enough wiggle room. I was worried about pulling them off, but they pulled off easily without suction even barefoot. The handles are a helpful feature when putting on and taking off. The treadmill is great! Really does a good job in the rain and on ice. As for warmth, they're labeled for -40F, so unless you live in remote Russia I think you'll be just fine. But with confidence. This is a super great well built boot. I'm happy I got them. As for the price.....I'll just keep telling myself that you get what you pay for and leave it at that.
I had been searching for rain boots for a while but didn’t want something too tall or too short. The mid calf height on these is perfect. I also like the durability of the boots. It’s good for the garden if it gets a bit muddy. I worried about buying boots online without trying them on first, but these have been comfortable. I have worn them out for hours on rainy days and my feet have been fine and I have sensitive feet. I’d rate them about a 7 in comfort on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest). They are true to size. I definitely recommend these boots.
This is my 5th pair of Bogs rain boots, 3rd pair of these exact boots. My previous boots were shiny, these are not. I will keep them because I like the quality and the ease of putting them on.
Always the same for and great quality. Bought these to keep downstairs to take the dogs out. Leave by the back door and pull on multiple times a day. Keep my feet warm and dry. Didn't know if I would love the shiny black but they were the cheapest and just for outback but I love the look of them and have worn them out with jeans in the winter when running errands and they look great!
I bought these boots a few weeks ago and have worn them quite a bit in this New England spring weather. I have rather muscular calves and found the taller Bogs uncomfortably tight on my leg. These Bogs, though, are perfect, not tight at all and even with some space so I can tuck in the legs of my jeans if I want. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and bought the size 9, which fit perfectly for length and are a tiny bit on the wide side, which I like because I don't want them to feel constricting on my feet. In the present weather I wear them with a light sock and in the summer I'll likely go barefoot and have good air circulation. I did try them barefoot and did not experience any rubbing. I also find these pull on and off without any effort. I'm very satisfied with their quality and fit.
I love these. Only 2 things: 1) The top arch is very tight. I’ve tried to find the right socks to fit that will fill the heel and toes but thin on top. Hoping they stretch a bit with use. It really does rub after a couple hours. Number 2) The mold of the soles are not even. As if they are knock-offs. The mold is fine on left foot, goes all the way up around the toe area on the right. I only use them for utilitarian purposes so it’s not a big fashion deal for me. If it was, I’d return them. Otherwise, they’re cool. Love just pulling them on and wide enough to tuck pants in easily. Expensive for the quality but I live in a remote area with no shopping to speak of, so rely on Amazon for much of my stuff.
I've worn Bogs for years now. Bogs fit my foot fairly well, (8) but the heel is slightly too wide. Easily fixed with an adhesive heel thing. Great for rain and snow. I prefer the regular mid-calf straight cut as my jeans don't fit down into the boot with this style. I would like to see a better mud gripping tread as they tend to slide on our bare wet clay. Keeps feet and toes warm. Love them.
