Omg I love these!!!! The outer shell is wipeable and the sole is thick and durable. The inside is ridiculously cozy and I love how they are higher than my Ugg Coquettes and Discos so they keep more of my foot warm, particularly when it’s a bit snowy outside. I’ve been wearing these outdoors to take the kids to school and their extracurricular activities and I just love them. They look so adorable too! Buy them!!!
While these Dearfoams booties are not as nice as similar Ugg boots, they are much less expensive. If you want something that is similar to Uggs in the sense that they are warm and cozy while also having a sole that is designed to be used both indoor and outdoor, but don't want to pay Ugg prices, these boots are a decent option. The overall quality is good. I wouldn't want to use them in extremely wet conditions, but they perform well enough for walking around on snowy sidewalks or on wet concrete when it's raining. I wouldn't say that these are going to be what you'd need in conditions that call for true rain or snow boots.One thing I noticed is that the product page describes a "Genuine Suede" material, but you should be aware that there is only a small amount of suede near the heal and toe. Most of the outer material is a nylon fabric. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but don't let the reference to suede make you think that the entire exterior upper is a suede type fabric like classic Ugg boots.
I now have worn these five times and I have to say that I love them. There are two things that bother me a little but they are small inconveniences when I look at the pros and cons. They are not the easiest boots to get on especially if you have thick socks on. I no longer wear the thick socks. The inside are so warm and fuzzy. Amazing. The second is, the boot bottom is heavy...like I had to get on the scale at the doctor with them on and it added a few pounds. I knew they were hefty but I am hoping they will help me keep stable in the snow. These cons do not overwhelm the plusses. They are beautiful on and so warm. They look great and I've had people ask me where I got them. These are a win.
They're not snow proof or water resistant. My feet still felt cold in the snow and did feel a bit damp after. I think for dry winter nights these would be nice but I wouldn't advertise them as snow boots because they're not. They do look cute though and they are comfy.
These boots are warm and snuggly. If your size falls in between, like 8.5, size up to the next whole size.The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars, the boot design is not giving so the boot is very difficult to get on.
I wear these all the time. It started to snow here which means that it’s cold, but I still have to walk the dogs. My feet are warm, without socks in these. I will say that the tag broke on one of them, and they don’t have a lot of traction. But they are mighty warm!
These shearling booties are very comfy and keep my feet warm. They fit my foot and are true to size but the only reason for the 4 stars is I find them tough to pull on. There is a stretchy “V” on the top and a pull tab loop in the back but it’s hard to get your finger through it to pull the bootie on. Maybe when they’re more broken in they’ll be easier to get on. Overall I’m very happy with them though.
I normally wear a 7.5-8 so I ordered a size 8. I had a bit of trouble getting my heels in the first time I put them on, and for the first hour or two, my toes felt a bit squished, but as I wore them around the house for a while, they seemed to relax a little and felt fine. I didn't have socks on and I would say this size is now perfect for me, but if I wanted to wear with socks, they would have to be pretty thin. If you intend to wear with thicker socks, you might want to size up one size. The quality is excellent and they're very comfortable. The only other thing to note is I thought the entire boot would look more muted like the suede area on the toe, but the main part of the shoe is more of a shiny, nylon material. It looks nice but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, so I included pictures that show the material contrast a little better.
