I wear size 9.5 regular, fit was excellent right out of the box w very minimal break in. Soles have exceptional grip on ice or slippery surfaces. Very comfortable for hiking even on steep rocky surfaces!! Very comfortable and secure! In 35F weather my feet felt warm, however if you spend too much time standing still my toes / feet got cold, even w good winter socks! These are not stand still in frigid weather boots. Ive had them for little time and love them, great overall winter work boot! Awesome lace set up! Have had snow on them and no water penetration. Anyway definitely they stand up to their reputations! Very comfortable !!
True to size. Looks and feels good. Keeps your feet warm as well without a lot of sweat. Waterproofing seems to be solid so far as well after a month. Bought my pair previously used at a steal and can't tell the difference from brand new.

I really like these boots so far. Have worn a lot but just around the house so far. Love the Keen larger toe box. High quality materials including the leather and lace loops. Have mounted them to my snowshoes and they fit in the bindings without a problem. Will be taking them to the mountains soon!
Have owned several Keens and several insulated boots over the years. These have got to be the warmest 200g of insulation boots I've ever owned. They're durable, stiff and super comfy, perfect for working outdoors in cold weather or just wearing them casually outside. I love that I can tie a hikers knot with these instead of dealing with eyelet holes to the top of the boot...keeps that heal in place. The temps have been in the single digits thus far and my feet were perfectly fine...no need to break out the 1200g hunting boots yet. Highly recommended! I might just buy a second pair because Keen seems to discontinue my favorite boots every year.
If you are new to Keen, here is the deal. They are true to fit and are of incredible quality. I stand on Keen shoes 10-12 hours a day with no fatigue. First time you get them, there is zero break in and they just fit.If you are new to snow shoes, let me about these. They use what they call Polar Grip on the soles and are a soft rubber (like genuine snow tires) and also include "siping" which is tiny serrations in the rubber that are again, like genuine snow tires. How do they grip so well? They actually have tiny micro shards of glass imbedded into the rubber. Yep, they stick to ice, in fact they are rated as the "grippiest" shoes without going to full ice cleats. Also in the sole is reflective metal foil that reflects the heat of your feet back to your feet. These are rated to -25 F.First time with "high top" shoes that are above the ankle? Here are some pointers for ANY taller boot.Do not crank the top laces tight. If you do, your legs hurt and you will walk silly like you have on ski boots or are a duck with backwards knees. Instead, leave the top several laces a little loose by bending your leg forward and then tying them tight. This way you will have some slop in the top part of the boot and your leg can travel and the bottom of the shoes still stays tight.Hope my review was helpful
I bought these as a snow/hiking boot. Took them on a trip to Finland in early spring. They worked just as well walking 8 miles on city streets as they did ice fishing in slush on a frozen lake. Great traction on all surfaces. I have a metal pin in my foot that is very sensitive to cold and no issues at all. Little to no break-in period required. True to size with room for wool socks.
These boots are great for snow. Yes, they are. But that's it. They're not comfortable for more than an hour or two. Toes suffer as the front of the boot is pretty rigid. And, they're much more expensive than other, better boots.
