For winter use live in the northeast
Fits well, ordered one half size larger. Works walking on icy roads and in the packed snow on trailsd
Description of boots shows Men/Women size 7.5. Guessing these are a Men’s 7.5. Boot was too big. Zipper was a bit tough. I returned them.
So Merrell calls these waterproof, but they aren't in the way that's expected. The reason is the zipper is not backed by a waterproof connected material like some of Merrell's other waterproof winter boots with zippers are. So if you end up in water any higher than the top of the rubber sole, it's getting in the boot through the zipper. If you're in a couple inches of wet slushy snow/slop, expect wet feet. They are warm and comfy, the upper has no support to it at all, so it's not more supportive than wearing a tennis shoe height shoe is, it just adds warmth. They are nice and easy to get in and out of, I'd say they run about a half size big, which is fine if you intend on using them with a heavy sock.
