Built with seam-sealed waterproofing and vulcanized rubber, these nylon boots are a favorite for everything from relaxing après ski to blazing a trail through the snow. Even as temps drop, the removable felt inner boot delivers warmth down to -40°F/-40°C. Sorel's cold weather footwear is ideal for those participating in active winter sports like snowmobiling or sledding, or for activities where maximum protection is required -- like all-season hunting or fishing, or simply going to work.

Bought these for a trip we are going on in a month to Iceland. With warm socks, these are great! I’ve worn them outside for hours at a time with normal socks on and my toes stay warm for like an hour and then start getting a little cold. With the right socks, they’re fine. They are water proof, lace up nicely, and keep snow/water out of the inside.I wear a size 11 Nike. I ordered these in a 10.5 and they fit good. A tiny bit of room for some thick socks. I would recommend these boots. I like them, they look good, and appear well made. Will update if anything changes on these!
These boots are amazing. I bought true to size and they fit perfectly. I wore them in -12 degree weather the day I got them and my feet stayed warm all day and dry in the snow. The soles feel good on ice. Definitely a great boot
They are warm and comfotable. They run a little big. But the taste like poop.
Do you want a big pair of warm slippers you can wear out in the show and slush to keep your feet warm and dry? Do you want them to look cool with your pants both over or under the upper? Then you'll be very happy with these. Do you want a serious boot to protect your feet in harsh winter conditions? Do you beat your boots up and expect them to last without consequence? Look elsewhere. What they are:-A fashion boot with a cool classic look that works pretty well at keeping your feet warm and dry in winter.-Pretty warm (think 400G level warmth) and reasonably water proof.-Very comfortable. They feel like big slippers.-Clunky. Hard to drive in.What they are not:-A serious utility boot. The sole is thinner than you think and the nylon upper provides pretty minimal support. I wouldn't trust the sole to hold up walking over sharp rocks or hiking. But it's fine for snow and every day use.-Seriously warm. The felt liner is nice, but it's lacking in warmth compared to modern thinsulate lined boots.-Form fitting. They're loose and sloppy, even if you size down. You won't be wearing these for winter hiking or as a cold weather work boot. The thin nylon upper doesn't provide any support and the sole is pretty thin and not really up to the task of hard use over the long term. The fit is sloppy and even when sizing down, your foot kind of meanders around in the boot as you walk. This makes them comfortable, but not for long periods of walking, or anything that requires support. You will be wearing them as an every day boot in cold weather, and/or snow and slush. Even with the sloppy fit, they're super comfortable. Again, like big warm slippers you can wear outside. You can wear them outside shoveling, out to the bar, out to a friend's house, or anything else that doesn't really challenge the longevity of the construction and materials too much. Sorel makes other boots that are very robust, heavy duty, and for serious use. This is not one of them. This is high on fashion, high on comfort, and has enough warmth and isolation from the elements to use as an everyday boot in winter. It will keep your toes warm down to the 30ºF range or so with normal wool socks (lower with real thick ones). If you take care of them, the rubber should hold up and keep you dry. If you beat them up, they will fail eventually.I'm happy to have them and love them. But I have other boots for when I need serious footwear to protect my feet in harsh conditions. They're good boots, but understand what they are before purchasing.
I'm in my 2nd winter with these boots. Well made, quality materials. Pull tab on back to help getting boots on. Loops for ties are large metal rings, so easy to tighten. Ties are plenty long, so can walk around without tying without ties falling out of top loops. Quite warm with warm socks at single digit temps (for at least 30 min, my usual outing these days). Everything I would want in a boot of this type. Highly recommend.
I bought these for my son. The fit was true to size. He loved them!
Perfect length a little narrow. Put a shoe stretcher in for a day. Now fits good.
Just received my boots yesterday and decided to wear them in the snow (5"- 6" deep, not cloe to deep enough to get in the tops). After walking around in the snow for about 10 minutes, I went back inside and took the boots off. I then felt each boot inside and noticed they were both damp between the insulated liner and fabric upper. I then called Sorel's customer service number and was told that these boots should definitely not be damp insid, and that there must be a defect with the waterproofing. I was then also told that Sorel has these boots on sale for 60% less than I just bought them on Amazon for. I will say that they fit great - normally I wear an 11.5 or 12. I ordered size 12, and they fit with enough room for a thick winter sock. I may have been able to get away with an 11.5, but was concerned I'd have to wear a thin sock. Wish I'd known I could have purchased them direct from Sorel for less than 1/2 of what I just paid Amazon Prime. I think they are great boots - there is a reason they have been around for so long, but I have to give them a 3 star rating. Nothing against Sorel, just purely based on my experience here.
