My first Sorel and it didn’t disappoint. This shoe is sooo comfortable feels like walking on clouds. I haven’t tested the waterproof property of this boot yet, I guess we shall see. Fit, comfort and style - 5 stars!
Most comfortable boot I have ever owned. Easy to slip off and on. I feel like sorel is discontinuing it, which is a shame. it's very warm, too warm for summer I wish they made it in a warm weather version too.
Fortunately, I had tried on a pair of Sorel boots a friend had bought, and knew they ran small. I normally wear an 8.5-9, so I ordered a 9.5. It fits comfortably - I think a 10 might be fine as well, if I were to wear heavier socks. They’re soft, so I think it will stretch a bit to accommodate my bunion. Seems like a sturdy zipper and the height is good. I don’t think it would be suitable for extremely cold weather or a long hike because the lining and cushioning isn’t heavy-duty. But, all-in-all, for what I need, they are nice-looking boots, and I expect they’ll hold up well since my Sorels have in the past.
These are dressy shoes, but that’s what I love about them. When you have your jeans on and need to be out and about, these are the perfect pair of shoes. I usually wear a 9.5, but this shoe only had a 10, and they fit great. I think I would’ve been just as happy with the 9.5, but I do have wide feet and one foot swells a lot bc it had been broken in the past. There is plenty of room for wearing all day. Sorel is my favorite brand of shoe. It’s about all I wear.
So soft and comfy but I had to return them. Just trying them in and trying to walk around the house they rubbed against my shin and leg above my ankle. Rubbing like that I knew I couldn’t ever where them like that all day. Bummed because they were so soft and perfect everywhere else.
I liked that the boots were exactly as described. I wear a size 6 and the fit was perfect. I feel I could wear with a thin sock or with out socks!
I’m note sure why the “just ok” reviews. I really like these. I’m usually a 9 or 9.5. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit good. Love the look and are very comfortable for walking.
