My son is a size 13.5 men (he just turned 14) so it's very difficult to "find" shoes that large. Usually we have to go with Unisex shoes (as I believe these are). I got them on March 29th - it is May 1st and last week this tear started and now it's basically the entire side. I am a single mom and can't afford to replace cleats every 3 weeks it's ridiculous. He says the "thick" leather cleats with laces inhibit his ball control/accuracy.. so he prefers the laceless lightweight kind... thus the durability issue. Does ANYONE have this probelm??? they say cleats should last at least 1/2 a season...
With kids cleats, you never know. My son has had a few now, some fall apart right away (even expensive ones), others do not. These have held up so far (he's 14 and plays club and for his high school). He has had these for one whole season. He likes the laceless shoes, and says these are comfortable. I love that they are bright orange (easy to see him on the field), but they got so dirty right away. He said it's because of the turf they play on (not grass). Outside of that, they seem to be good shoes that have held up through many hours of play.
Got these for my 14 yr old soccer player when his old ones where hurting the sides of his feet. He loves these and says they are so comfy for soccer shoes.
After playing in these maybe 2 or 3 times both sides were torn. Very bad quality cleats.
This is the second pair with the same issue. The first pair ripped on the last day we could return them. I thought I was lucky. The second pair ripped a week after the return window ended. So annoyed!
