First of all, these sandals are not on inexpensive side, but, gosh, what an excellent quality! First I saw them in a store, fell in love, but price spooked me off. Then I found that I can buy them here at the bargain price. Ordered right away for my 5 y.o. Everyone knows how kids can destroy any pair of footwear in no time. These are undestroyable! Very comfortable, beautiful design. My son managed get with them into the water, dried out fast, look like new. I like they can be aqjusted in tree ways, that lets to make them comfortable for any foot. Worth to note, that these sandals run small at least for one size: my son is 10-11 now, but this 12 is just right. I am very happy with the purchase!Update: Summer is over, after wearing these sandals almost every day for 3 straight month, they look the same, I wish kids do not grow so fast, he could wear them couple seasons more!
Great sandals, I love Texas, I have some and usually buy keen sandals for my son's. I thought these would be a nice open toe option for my 3 year old that he could easily take on and off. They fit well and adjust so well. Buy a size or more larger for your kid and adjust the straps to move the foot forward and use the s for two years instead of one. I will be getting more tea sandals for my boys as they grow. Why the check not? They're great! I get them for my nieces too who love them for all outdoor activities during the summers. We wear them year round in California.
I purchased these sandals for my grandson and he wore them for over 2 years. They are perfect for growing feet, not only are the side adjustable with the velcro closures but the back has a velcro closure that is adjustable as well. They really hold up nicely and he has put them thru it. He wears them hiking and in the water. They are his favorite shoes.
We love love love these sandals!!!! I bought 3 for my three boys, ages 8 and twin 5.5 yr olds. I always order a size range, so we shipped the 2 extra back. These sandals have a great sneaker sole - thick and rugged, great for sports; super comfy footbed with arch support, comfortable straps to adjust sizing around feet and ankles, and are great water shoes. The price was reasonable for the brand and quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone!!!
The teva size chart for kids is VERY strange. It took cross checking with sizes from other companies to know exactly which size I needed. My son wears a size 2 in most shoe brands, but for Tevas sandals I ordered size 4. It is a little big because I wanted him to be able to grow a bit, size 3 would have been perfect, but then they would be done if his foot grew just a little. And tevas are too expensive to buy for 1 year of use. The shoes work great other than that.
I bought these for my boys 9 and 10 and they are super comfortable and we consider these our dress flip flops in here in Florida. They hold up well and dry fast.
The color scheme I wanted was much more expensive than the red and black I purchased, that aside the quality just doesn't seem up to par with Teva sandals I've purchased in the past. these will not be able to be passed down to younger brother they're fraying on the edges and one strap will probably tear through before the season is out. expect more for $50 then three months of wear!
My 8 year old loves these shoes. Tevas are the way to go in the summer time. Great for water and trekking through the woods. And they look good too
