These are nice clogs for doing stuff around the yard, but I like my previous yard shoes, Sloggers, better as they have a better fit and more arch support. I definitely would not go hiking in these. These shoes have a tiny bit of arch support when I look at it, but I don't really feel it with my foot. They also are a little bit large on me and slide around on my foot. I ordered the Men's 9, which on the shoe it says is also a woman's 10, which is what I typically wear.I do like that they don't have holes in the front so they will help keep my socks more dry if it is damp outside. I also like that they are a solid material so they can wash off easily. The material is a bit squishy; I can feel large lumpy things under my feet a little bit as I step on them, and the top bends in easily. They are fairly thick on the bottom though; they're not thin or weak seeming, just a bit flexible.Overall, I'd say these are great shoes for doing stuff around the yard or even running a quick errand somewhere when you want shoes that slip on and off quickly and easily.
My husband is NOT one to wear this type of shoe but he has found them very useful for several things around the house. Because of this, he has gotten used to them and now pronounces them to be "pretty comfortable" which is high praise from him. I personally wasn't fond of them because they are firmer than the ones I usually wear, which might be exactly what he does lije about them. (Yes, we wear the same size shoe).
I bought this to replace my worn clogs. Sadly it's not the same quality and you must wear socks and you need to clean the inside almost daily.
Calling these a 'Hiker' is a bit of a stretch, but these are decent injection molded slippers with a little squishiness to them. The tread is likely the most 'hiker-like' feature on these, with a pretty good tread pattern.I've tried these with and without socks, and find that I prefer them without. They provide a good grip on my foot and I have not felt like I'm going to be stepping out of them.Without holes, they are a little warmer/sweatier, but also offer more protection, making these a nice choice for me for in the house, in the yard, and on short walks in my area.They're attractive enough (as much as this style of slipper can be), a size 13 fit is pretty for me (I'm about a 12 1/2, so end up in a 12 or a 13 depending on manufacturer, or around a 47 EU sizing).
The foam used for these isn't quite as soft as the name brand, but they are darn close. Since they are a closed clog, they keep the moisture out a little bit better, but they also keep the moisture in (with the side effect of sweaty feet). This isn't really a knock on the product, just a side effect of foam/plastic shoes. I've been wearing mine with socks around the house and for quick errands and haven't had any issues.
These are so well made and so comfortable but they have one fatal flaw… every now and then the sole of your foot is going to make a little fart sound against the rubbery material of the shoe. It’s like a suction effect I guess. i suppose you could wear socks but this isn’t really the right footwear for socks. Funny but I’ve worn super cheap garden clogs from no-name brands in the past and Ive never had this happen.
These crocs on roids are extra nice. I got these for my boyfriend unsure if he’d even wear them. But they are perfect for slipping on to just step outside. He’s been wearing the crap outta them. They are comfy and convenient. I love the flashy color too. These are very durable and I’d recommend them.
It is light and comfortable pair of soft shoes. They would be better with some kind of openings on top to make it easier to put it on (air)
