Hey-- I live in Minnesota, and so I was wondering how long it would take for a Sorel boot and a house slipper to, uh, "merge" and give rise to an all-weather slipper for lounging in front of the old TV you use for video games in the garage.I dunno what these are, but the front says "Winter Hike" and the back says "Watching Golf." Funny but comfortable. Warm too. And, uh, "waterproof"-- sorta.
As a former New Englander, my first impression of this Bass slipper was that it looked like a well-known hunting boot from Maine had been combined with very comfortable slippers. It works really well. I like wearing slippers most of the time and with these I don't feel the need to change into shoes if I'm just going out to get mail or use the dumpster. With their open backs, I wondered if they'd stay on well but so far that hasn't been a problem. The sturdy front provides extra protection from furniture attacks. They're well made, comfortable, and highly recommended.
I like how simple they are, but so well made. They form to ur feet & are rugged enough to take on NYC. in comfort
I like to gather a few friends together and head out on a pontoon boat to fish and meditate. This adventure involves using the boat, as well as pulling up onto the shore to camp out, or move through a different kind of terrain to mix it up a bit. Being within a boat or sandy/muddy areas can cause traditional shoe material to have to dry out which can take along time if there is no sun beating down. I know i am always in the water during those trip so often a sandal will work. The problem with just a sandal is while there is plenty of freedom for the foot, the thin layer can create obvious problems when out in the wild. This is where a neat slipper/shoe like this from the Bass Outdoor brand becomes a summer classic. I was initially caught by the brand name because of its outdoor lifestyle emphasis. This slipper shoe is lined with super soft Sherpa material that is great for people like myself who jog five to six days a week. That extra cushion effect within the slipper, takes the strain off of the lingering effect of constant bending of the foot, due to hills and valleys within the outdoor jogging tracks i have set up throughout town. This slipper has a camo design that coats all of the visible parts of the slipper, save a small area of the Sherpa lining that you can see the fluffy material in a visible vision range when looking at someone who is wearing tis neat slipper/shoe.This is perfect for wearing on the pontoon boat where there is a flat surface and therefore plenty of room to walk around on. This is dock friendly because it does not slip around when loading up the boat. I tested this out during the weekend and have already struck and interest with a few random people who asked about them.I like how the size twelve fits snuggly without slipping around. That is important when being on a water craft. To conclude, i am happy with this slipper and recommend it to anyone who wants to take the slipper design to the next level, to make it compatible with outdoor activities.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, but when they arrived and I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised. They fit good, they stay on my foot, they are comfortable and I don't have to worry about them falling apart when I wear them out to take the trash out. I can't say much about the looks though, they aren't anything to right home about as far as that goes, but from a purely practical viewpoint, these are awesome. Would I wear them to the store? Not unless I had to. Would I wear them at home for any purpose? Yes.
These are good looking, neatly made clogs but at the time of this review it's hard to find any information about what they're actually made from. They say "sherpa lined" and since I doubt they lined them with sherpas I can only assume it's 100% polyester. They claim it will keep you warm and I'm counting on it. But they seem tough enough and the fit is fine.
These slippers are fleece lined and cozy... heel-less, making them easy to slide on and off. They have synthetic (rubbery) uppers, making them less "breathable" than leather (so they can be a little hot). But they're well made and comfortable.
I have always liked the Bass brand as a family brand where quality and comfort can be trusted for every style we’ve had over many years. This style is new for me but I was intrigued for the exterior shoe being water resistant while the inside would have a slipper comfort. It has been so nice to go do chores outside on wet dewy mornings like walking to the trash/etc. while having a barrier against outside and not having cold feet inside the shoe!
