I like these so much that I bought a second pair and color. I need an x-wide for my feet, but not for my ankles, and this brand always meets my needs. The chunky heel is not so heavy that it makes walking around a chore. I am not sure how they would hold up in real winter weather, but they are cute and that is all I need.
They aren’t comfortable and my feet slide forward.

Overall the fit was odd. Somehow the company decides that if the width is wide, the shaft is wide just as well. Shaft is the upper part of the boot. My leg was floating in this shaft. No measurements of the shaft were provided. No thanks, I prefer the shaft that fits closer to my leg. Return was a nightmare and looks like Amazon didn’t receive it after all. All I know is that I dropped it inside the machine at the local Whole Foods after entering all the info. Will never use Try Before You Buy ever. And most likely will never buy anything made by Bella Vita brand.
I chose wide width. I wear an 8.5 or a 9. The wide width allows more comfort around the toe box. I could wear thicker socks. They are comfortable, nice insole. Could add an arch support, if ever needed. Non-slip.
I ordered a size 8 x-wide, and a 7.5 x-wide.normally wear 7.5 x wide if available. The boot runs true to size and the 7.5 would have been fine.But will wear the others with a heavy sock in the fall.
This is a really nice boot. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have such picky feet. Love the material, heel height and design. If the heel/ankle was a little more snug, it would be perfect. Unfortunately, my heel and ankle wiggled too much side to side, not enough support for me.
