This sandal is great and fits great. I'm a guy who needed sturdy foot wear since my feet have been hurting. These sandals have a cork footbed which is ergonomic and comfortable. I wear a size 11 men's US usually. (US11 for vans, US11.5 for ASICS, and US10.5 for Timberlands) I bought the Men's US 11 size and it runs just slightly big. But there are adjustable straps.Only complaint is that there is a spot that rubs my left foot when I'm not wearing socks. But I've heard these 'break in' after a few weeks like most shoes.They look great (with socks too haha).
This is my first Birkenstock sandals and I am not disappointed with the outstanding quality of the materials used. It's a Milano Birko-flor synthetic upper. When buying please use the European size of your feet instead of the US. I found my European size on one of my running shoes. Mine was 42 and it fits well. The one sent to me though was N (narrow) instead of M or R (regular) as ordered. N is actually better for me.
These were so much less expensive than any other of the same Birkenstock sandals anywhere else that I was a little skeptical. However, they were real, and exactly what I wanted! They also got here to Texas in just a few days despite shipping from Italy.
I've been a Birkenstock lover for as long as I can remember. If you've never owned a pair and have a good idea for size, I'd encourage you to go somewhere local and try on the different sizes and take notes. If your local shop has the perfect Birks - buy 'em. But if you're like me and wanted a unique color that none of the local shops had at a KILLER price - this is your sandle!Rick
beware that you will have to pay for shipping if you have to return it on your own dime, which isn't cheap. Also the sandals aren't true to size even if you follow the steps to measure your feet. They are a half size too large, and these sandals aren't made in half sizes, so........buyer beware.
I really do like these shoes but the strap is coming away from the side (first picture of inside the shoe). They’re so comfy and my go-to shoe. If I didn’t wear these all of the time I would exchange them but like I said they’re my go to shoe I’m just disappointed in the craftsmanship. I’ve been told my the seller (Shoe Brands USA) that they’re real but with the strap pulling away it leads me to believe otherwise
They’re quite comfy once they’re broken in. Only weird thing, my feet suction to the sole and make fart noises sometimes. I think it’s my feet’s fault.
I was very happily surprised when my order arrived 2 days after I’d placed my order! The seller’s info here on Amazon said it would be 2 weeks. I’m not sure why I got my order so quickly, but I’m very pleased that I did. They fit as expected, but I did notice that the right shoe had to have been worn numerous times before as the footbed was noticeably compressed, as Birkenstocks do, but I’m wondering how much this will effect the right shoe’s cork to properly conform to my feet. I’m not happy about this, as the feel of each shoe is discernibly different. Time will tell if there’ll be a long term detrimental effect, altho I don’t anticipate much of one, if any.
