Great shoe, great price!
Damn german feet profile on top of the box shows that my foot is much wider near the center than what there shoes are based on. I have some 14 year old eu 42 Birki Pro Clog's that are absolutely the best shoes I have ever owned & they have a ton of room inside. Only thing is that I no longer work in a kitchen, and they stick out like a sore thumb in the office setting. I really really hoped these shoe were going to be the best of all three worlds. Comfort, longevity & dress casual. Its a shame that they were just too skinny.
I found these shoes very difficult to put on.I liked the color and style, but really just very difficult to put on.
I love this shoe... I have problems with my feet hurting while at work. I found this shoe and love it. My feet do not hurt at the end of an 11 hour day. I haven't been able to say that in about 2 years
These shoes are advertised as fitting "10-10.5", which I assumed meant they were European size 43, which is considered the correct size for that conversion American men's sizes. Unfortunately, these shoes are marked size 41 from Birkenstock, so more sized for size 8.5-9 for men.I'm guessing the 10-10.5 size is for women's US sizes. Do'h! The listing doesn't mention men or women. For whatever reason, I assumed men. Since these are unisex shoes, it can get a little confusing, apparently. It makes me realize only to pay attention to the European sizes when ordering Birkenstocks and ignore how a vendor might try to list them in US sizing.Otherwise, really nice looking shoes with authentic Harris Tweed accent. Way to small for me, though. I didn't keep the box, so I can't return them. I guess the thrift store will get an unexpected pair of new Birkenstocks.
Birkenstock made a similar shoe a few years ago that was much more comfy out of the box. I have worn a 42 sandal for over 30 years, and have always worn a 43 in their shoes. This 43 regular is very narrow, hopefully they will stretch out and become more comfortable over time. Shoe is well made.
This boot is a really nice older Birkenstock style that is handsome and was selling at a very good price. My size is 39N (8-8 1/2 womens) and the fit is true to size. Actual Harris Tweed fabric incorporated into the design. Boots shipped and arrived in new condition, in original box about a week from purchase. Great experience.
Birkenstock makes such a quality shoe & this beat expectations...probably will never wear out
