Ok my shoes just arrived today and I’m currently experiencing a fallen arch on my right foot and so far so good my feet feel c comfortable and I can definitely feel the arch support more so on my right foot ( I associate this with my fallen arch) hoping these shoes build back up my arch and prevent this from occurring in the future.Now let’s talk about shoe size (see my pic) for the size I ordered. I am a female and wear a USA size 13W and if I’m not ordering womens dress shoes then I purchase men size 13 because men size usually accommodate my wide feet. With the shoe I still have room to wear a sock .Now the left shoe I have buckled on 2nd hole and right shoe (remember my arch has fallen on right foot) I have buckled on 1st hole.The left shoe feels more wider then the right shoe. Yes, I did examine the shoes and they are brand new and don’t look to ever been worn. I guess after wearing for a few days and once right arch builds back up my right shoe my not feel as tight.Overall so far I love how the shoe contours to my feet.I’ll give an update after a few days.
I’m new to Birkenstock & recently became obsessed with them. I have recently bought my first 3 pairs & they’re all Arizona sandals. My first ones were the big buckle shearling in narrow width in brown oiled leather (not from here) & I really liked them but found them slightly too narrow but still kept them. The second pair (also not from here) were sky blue newbuck with narrow width & a soft footbed they fit me perfectly out of the box. My third pair are the ones I bought through this link & they’re these gorgeous purple metallic suede ones lined in shearling. Based on the listing, I thought these would also be narrow but when I got them, I realized they were regular width. At first I was sad because I thought they’d be too big but they fit perfectly, more like the fit of the soft footbed narrow width. I think the shearling takes up s lot of room. I feel like my feet are really in the middle in terms of narrow or regular when it comes to Birkenstock’s. So I guess I could wear a narrow it regular depending on which shoe it is. I think I prefer the fit of these to my first pair, but I definitely recommend them. Aesthetically, they’re gorgeous!! Who doesn’t need purple fuzzy sandals? I highly recommend them!
These shoes give me strong arch support, cushion of the cork bed as I walk, wide and open enough for a hammer toe and a bunion. Got more comfortable as I wore them, the cork bed formed to my foot. Good and comfortable.
This is the second pair of Birkenstock Sidney sandals I have purchased and I can confidently say that I am extremely satisfied with both the quality of the product and the customer service. They were too large, the European sizes are different. Have to return them and buy a different brand altogether, Sorry
I thought the toe box would be taller bc it’s so wide, but it’s a little shallow for my big toes lol other than that awesome arch support and already wore them outside and for a little walk and they are the bomb!
These are the best sandals/shoes ever! Takes a while to break in but then so comfy for the feet. Socks or no socks… they’re great!
I absolutely love everything about these shoes! I had a severe ankle injury so someone recommended them to me and I found they offered even more foot support than the cast had. When you first put them on they will feel stiff but as you faithfully wear them, they will perfectly conform to your feet!! My successful recovery began the very day I put them on for the first time. These shoes are pricey but well worth it and I will always wear them!
