After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitate to order these. I have quite a few Clark sandals and shoes and have always been very satisfied with the quality and comfort. A number of reviews stated the leather was inferior and the sandals uncomfortable . Knowing I could easily return them to Amazon, I decided to take a chance. Arrived quickly and I loved the look of them. The leather is beautiful and a good quality. When I tried them on they were extremely comfortable, easy to adjust to my feet and walk in. So glad I look a chance. These are exactly what I was looking for. Very glad I took a chance.
I bought these sandals for a weeklong trip in Europe with lots and lots of walking- 20k steps/day on average. I don’t usually buy Wide shoes but many of the reviewers said the regular ones fit perfectly for narrow feet, which I definitely dont have, so I went for 7W.At first they felt almost too light and “floppy” in the front but after walking those 20k steps/day… Im in love and will keep these for a long time. They are super soft, light, and comfortable. I did not experience any issues with the velcro coming apart but I would agree with the other reviewers that the velcro strap should be longer and more secure. Def a design flaw there.I joke these look like “grandma shoes” but actually have recieved random compliments on them so take that as you will lol. Overall 10/10 would recommend, great for lots of walking, and look decently cute!
Comfortable out of the box. Good value. A little snug over the toes, but sure they'll loosen over time.

From the beginning, when I would put the sandals on, the main strap that is most important in holding the shoe on would pop open on one of the shoes. They fit fine, it is not a matter of them being too small. For some reason, it just won't stay closed so when I wear them, I'm walking around with the shoe slipping off constantly. Super frustrating and the return window has passed.
Usually when I purchase Clark’s they’re very comfortable from the start. These are not. The leather straps are very stiff and the edges are not soft. Also unlike my other pairs the straps across my toes are not adjustable. As a result I have sores on my big toes and red marks on my other toes. I’m going to have to buy leather stretcher for these and wear them with thick socks until they stop cutting my feet. I did purchase the correct size and they appear to run true to size. It’s just the straps that are bad. Otherwise they appear well made.
