Fits as expected based on reading reviews. These shoes accommodate my wide feet and the adjustable strap fits my high instep. I bought them after reading the many reviews. The adjustable ankle makes it easy to snug up the fit based on the activity. I am a preschool teacher and can not wear open toe shoes at work. These are great moving from the classroom to outside including water play under the sprinkler. Coworkers loved them and the price is reasonable. They are well made and nice looking and comfortable. I had a few blisters around my ankles from rubbing until I learned to tighten the ankle adjustment so the fit more snugly. I love these and am considering ordering another pair. By the way, I have been searching for closed toe sandals for two years. Much roomier than Keen which are too narrow for my wide foot and high instep.
These are great to walk in my neighborhood, work in the garden, or run to the food store. I have had 3 complements on the first day of wearing them and when I got them all muddy, I hosed them down and they were clean. No squishy feel after wet either. I got a rock in them while working in my garden, I simply tapped my toe and rotated my foot outward and the opening allowed the rock to be freed easily without removing my shoe! I have also just slid them on and stepped on the back strap and that is comfortable too! I WISH I had the black ones, but they were going to take too long to arrive. They hit my ankle a bit when I first tried them, however... after some adjusting they fit perfectly. I enjoy the top strap a bit sung and the back one pretty loose. ENJOY THESE! They are AMAZING! (I also suffer from the need of arch support, and these aren't obvious about support but I can were them all day and not hurt... so there is that! HA!)
I have only worn the sandals consistently 2 afternoons-into-evenings. So far so good! :)I have wide feet & need good arch support. These seem to be doing well.I am pleased to note that my feet are not overly sweaty either. I was concerned due to the plastic bottoms against my soles.I do wish the ankle strap was a bit longer. Also, I was disappointed to find the colors are stone, coral & COBALT. The blue appeared to be purple on my screen. I have tried for years to find Keens that fit. Every style is different. Tevas also do not work for me. We do a lot of water sports so I needed a supportive waterproof shoe. I will annotate (if I can) if I find these do not work in the long run.
I wear a size 8.5 - 9 shoe and have a wider foot and larger ankles. For comparison...I just had to return a pair of 8.5 Teva Verra sandles because they weren’t wide enough and ankle strap was too short. For me the Clorts are perfect! Plenty of room with the 8.5 and the adjustability with the back strap and ankle strap is great to get the perfect fit! I’ve literally woren them everyday day since I got them (3 weeks now)! I wear from the flower garden to the ballfield and to take my little ones for a stroll around the block! I’m being completely honest when I say truly they are the most comfortable, versatile shoe I own! I have now ordered them in another color and my 73yr old mother just purchased her a pair! I get compliments on them often. And most important...they are as comfortable as they are cute!!!
These are just what I hoped. Love that the inside can be washed as I have even worn these in shower at pool. They are so cute. I have gotten so many compliments. Substantial support in sole. 6.5 was a tiny bit short as I usually order 7, but the velcro on back allowed me to adjust. Adjustable buckle uner ankle is troublesome as it hits my ankle bone. To cover, I used bandage tape in matching color so I am perfectly happy. If buckle could have been attached more firmly to shoe, I wouldnt need the tape. Nevertheless, I would order again.
These shoes are NOT as described....there are NO holes in soles to let water through. I was so excited to finally get these after exchanging them for a 1/2 size larger. I can't speak for the comfort of these shoes because I haven't worn them yet. I rated them somewhat wide...but I do have a narrower foot than most. It did not affect the comfort at all. I will contact seller to see what I can do.
I purchased these on a lightning deal, great price, but the wrong season. It is now winter, so I've only worn them around the house to try them. I will update after I've worn these more come warmer weather. As for now, I can say they have little to no arch support, which is bad for a so-called hiking shoe. I saw a podiatrist recently who recommended a place where I can go to get custom arch support inserts, but wouldn't it be nice if I didn't have to bother? By the way, I told him I wear Crocs clogs most of the time in warmer weather, and he says those are great, nothing needs to be added. I will be traveling extensively later in the year in very warm climates over very uneven terrain and lots of hills and steps, so I figured these fitted shoes might be better than the Crocs. We'll see.I am also worried about my fourth toe (next to the pinkie). It is exactly at the end of the cutout on the front. That cutout is a bit too large for me. I can actually raise that toe up and completely out of the shoe. Will that cause irritation when I'm walking many miles a day and on my feet hour after hour? I may need to add some cushioning there, especially when I am not wearing socks.A plus is that there is a separate strap adjustment for the heel. That is one of the main reasons I purchased them as I have a very narrow heel, so other shoes very often are too wide at the heel and cause irritation.Other than that, they seem very stable, good for uneven terrains. But really, no arch support?
