I usually wear a 9b (medium), but wanted to wear these on a cruise and dance in them, and not feel as if I had to take my sandals off to be comfortable. So I ordered the next width larger, and so glad I did! My toes are not pinched! There's a foam cushion under the ball of the foot. I was a bit surprised that I needed to adjust the back strap to the tightest hole...I wonder if perhaps the 8.5 c/d would have fit better in length because the footbed is longer than my foot. However, I still am quite happy and will likely order the same size in another color.The heel is not too high, there is great support, and they really look cute on. Win-win!!My only complaint really is that there was no free return shipping in case I had truly wanted a different size. (Actually, some sellers DO offer free returns--just not the one I bought from )4-2-15. Bought the almond color, and they're just as nice as the black. Good shoes!9-16 Bought the black patent leather for a wedding. 3 pairs must say something about how nice these shoes are. Also, I had to have the elastic holding the buckle for my original black pair repaired at a shoemaker. He said these shoes were well crafted and worth repairing.
Super comfortable heel.
SO comfortable, even for a lady with bunions who can never wear heels. However, the shoes ran large, to the point that the strap was loose on the tightest notch, and the back of the shoe extended far past my heel. I couldn't make another hole for the strap buckle because the strap gets wider there. Sending back (they charged about $4.60 for return postage). Will reorder in a half size smaller.

Look sharp, fit fine, perfect for me
These shoes were a little snug but within a few steps they stretched to fit. My right foot is a bit more wide then the left so I was surprised that the left shoe fits loose while my right foot is perfect fit. I was impressed with the steady feel of the shoe. I wore them to church. The big test was when I walked into the gym from carpet to the gym floor with the same steady feel. I felt my heels grab the floor as I walked. I will buy this shoe in more colors.
I purchased these because I love the way the brand has non skid bottoms. (the older I get, the more this is needed)The first time I actually wore them, they felt amazing. Then, I noticed the back strap kept dropping and falling under my heel. I decided I'd try tightening the shoes, to the max. 3 steps later, started again. Then I realized, the strap just kept stretching and there was no way to keep it tight so I could wear them an entire day.Was unhappy with myself because it's too late to return them but, that's totally on me.
