I was turned onto Dr Sholl's by my ex- and activity/travel buddy this year. First I tried the inserts for my existing shoes. Her job is being on her feet all day. We both have foot issues. GAME CHANGER! (We recently did a week in Portugal where we averaged 20k steps a day and many stairs, hills, and cobblestone streets). It wasn't my feet that hurt each day- but my hips and calves!)But I am a total sandal/flipflop guy and inserts dont' work well with those. The ex- told me, "Dr Sholls sells sandals btw.. you should check them out". Excitedly i rushed to do so to find they don't jsut have sandals, but all sorts of shoes and footwear also!I ordered 3 (2 of them "try and buy" here at Amazon). I've decided to keep all 3 :)These specific ones are a softer suede like sandal with a matte light brown finish. Definitely more my style so I'm definitely keeping these.I will never buy any other footwear except Dr Sholls from now on and encourage everybody to do so (even without foot problems). Comfy feet so we all walk much more than we used to is a GOOD THING! And for those that have had issue walking before, give DR SHOLLS a try- it makes walking doable and even enjoyable again!(no.. i am nost employed or associated with Dr Sholls beyond being an estatic loyal customer now).
My husband wouldn't wear sandals because he is self conscious about his feet. These sandals were perfect as they are stylish, provides comfort and the covered toe is perfect!

I bought this after a great deal of review reading!! And guess why, I gave it all the TCL; but still somehow this piece of garbage managed to break from the sole where the toe bends.
Only wore them a couple of times and the faux leather peeled away at the toes. Very poor quality
Prime wardrobe order. Preferred the color over some alternatives.These seemed to be of lesser quality then the Gaston sandal. The synthetic material was noticeably thin which gave rise to concerns about durability. The build/fit for my size 13 foot left my little toe peeking out. Not appealing. Sending them back. Prefer the Gaston sandal at $10 more.
Poor quality fake leather peeling skin front side after 1 week:)
The strap that runs around the heel rubs against the bottom of my ankle bone and was hurting within seconds of walking around. Also, the adjustment strap only allows for about 1/4" of adjustment, so if they don't fit right they'll never fit. The soles are hard plastic and slick. Just an overall poor design from a company I thought prided itself on safety and comfort.
