It they are not what I was buying, it is a completely different model and really bigI’m returning itOn the other hand, as a native Brazilian who grew up wearing havaianas, the new models are stunningI have 10 of them, every color you can imagineThis one I was buying I pretended to give for my friend daughter
Really like the flip flops but they are SMALL! Had to size up on these. Still a bit narrow for my sons very wide chunky feet. But stay on and look adorable.
My son has adidas shoes size 7. I ordered a 9 havaianas and they’re smaller than the adidas. Otherwise great.
Runs EXTREMELY small. This is my 3rd time ordering trying to figure out his size. The sizing from Brazil is bigger so I know it’s this sizing that’s different. My son usually wears a 7 and that was way way way too small. So I ordered a 8 and it still was extremely small, so now I’m giving the 9 a go. As for the flip flops I’m Brazilian and love havaianas it’s so comfortable and very bendy. The elastic is also soft and comfortable. 10/10 just size UP!
I went with my son’s normal shoe size and ordered size 6 - it was super tiny and I had to return them.Because they were so small I didn’t want to risk it by ordering another pair so I decided to visit Havaians store to try them on there before I buy. When I went to the toddler shelf to pick a similar flip flops for my son, the seller told me right away to take a size up because they run small, meaning the store employee knew there’s an issue with it being so small for everyone. (We ended up buying a size 8 without it having an extra room).Another thing I didn’t like is the pricing that is similar to thier adult flip flops. Other brands like Nike or Adidas for example - they cut the price in half for toddlers. If Havaians uses half of the material - why should we pay full price?Update: Shoes fall off! The strap is too big comparing to the sole. Better to try a different sandal brand for your baby.
I should have gotten a 10 but the sandals are nice my son loves them. He even plays in them and they are still holding up after a couple of months.
I love the flexibility in the sole and overall support & comfortability, but why are the way do the run so small from the average sizing? My sons a size 6 in shoes so I got a 7 so he would grow into them but they fit like they are a 4 or 5! Both his toes & heals fall over the edges. Hopefully I will be able to exchange for a “larger” size, but I’m nervous as the sizes aren’t “true”. Bummers
