I purchased this shoe a couple of weeks ago. The shoe was a really good looking shoe, but it was too big. So I returned it for a smaller size. The replacement pair I ordered was almost $30 less, which I thought was odd, but great. It was not! The shoes I received was not at all the same quality. The stitching was bad, the color of the “wooden” part of the heel was much lighter than the pair I originally received and even looked plastic in comparison to the first pair. On top of that the leather had a grayish tint with a dull finish and was not the black, polished leather of the previous shoe. Had I not ordered the other shoe first and seen what it should look like, I may have been duped! However, that’s not how it happened and it’s hard to ignore the sharp contrast in the look and quality of the shoe. I only wish that I had the two in a side by side picture for comparison.
