I love all my Keens. Been wearing for them for 10+ years. Use them in the mountains, camping, bike riding, on the beach/boat. Having a pair that are easy to slip on and off was a brilliant idea. The build makes them snug enough to be very secure for a slip on. I will likely own more than one pair of these! Bring on the other color selections!
I love Keen shoes and have 10 pairs of various Keen shoes. When I saw these slides, I was so excited. I wanted these to quickly put on and go. The color was good, the arch was exactly where it needed to be and they fit perfectly. I love the toe protection.I would have kept but they were too heavy for me. All of my other Keens are light weight and loose enough to quickly put on and even tie laces if there were some. These were not going to come off because they were very very snug. They didn’t adjust like the Newports do. Unfortunately, they were returned. I really wanted to have these.
I love my Keen sandals. My last pair, which these are replacing, lasted for 10+ years and I expect these will, too. Super supportive, great tread, and comfortable, these are perfect for slipping on to walk the dog or stroll on the beach. Highly recommend!
I've been looking for Keen slippers for SO very long, as the Keen slippers I had before lasted like 12 years, I kid you not! Sadly, they must have been discontinued as I cannot find them anywhere. I hesitate to buy shoes online as I've had bad experiences with fit, and I absolutely hate returning stuff (especially at the p.o...yes, I'm lazy and hate standing on line). BUT, these are GREAT! They're a little more sturdy then my last Keens, but you can adjust the strings for a snug fit. After 2-3 wears I got used to them, and they look kinda cool too...now the problem is I want to wear them out and about, and not around the house. Sigh.
I love Keen's; they are the only shoe I can walk in and I use my various pairs for everything. (Even have one set for my daughter's wedding.) With that said, I purchsed these to slip on for outside and they are sturdy, solid and snug, but they are quite heavy. My feet feel very clunky and weighed down in them. I am used to the Keen sandles and enclosed backed sandles, which are much lighter while also being firm. Just an FYI that these do bring additional weight.
I bought these sandals to replace my Birks slides. I love a backless shoe but got fed up with pesky yard sticks getting jammed up the toes of my sandals. Nothing is more painful. These sandals keep my feet support and my toes safe as I work in the yard. They took a bit to get broken in; no pain or blisters just a it of newness rub, if that makes sense. Now, they are super comfortable and my new favorite show to wear gardening and shopping.
I love Keens: well constructed, covered toe, large toe box. I have a very old but still wearable pair that allowed us to connect two kayaks when I lost my paddle on the river. These are slip-ins, but very stable on the foot, which I appreciate.
PROS: Well made - Tan as pictured - Typical Keen appearance - easy off/onCONS: Slightly short in length - Coarse materials for uppers (scratchy) and sole bed (rough) surface - Too expensive given the lack of comfort.
