Merrell Women's Terran Slide II Black/Lilac Sandal 6 M US

This is the pair of shoes I keep by the door, bc I can slip them on to run a quick errand, or pick them to wear to an all day outdoor event where I’ll be walking a lot. They’re great for hot weather, rain or shine. In past years I had bought the Terran Post 2 and the Terran Cush Post 3, but I had never tried the slide. These are now my favorite. I actually tried a pair on in the Merrell outlet store a couple of months ago, but they were not as comfortable. This pair has the air cushion memory foam, and it really is just as comfortable after a long day outside at a festival walking on pavement or grass, as they are when you first put them on. I like the textured bottom as well, they’re good for terrain and grippy on smoother floors. (The ones I tried on in the outlet were not, they felt like I could slip and fall easily). The slight two-tone blue is just enough to be cute, without standing out. (I didn’t buy these for a colorful fashion statement, I bought them for walking). They look good enough, I personally like the toned down hint of 2 colors rather than a distinct bright difference. So far they’ve held up really well (my old ones did too), and the memory foam hasn’t deteriorated despite the miles I’ve already put on them. My favorite thing though is they don’t irritate my skin when walking a lot in the heat like some other brands of shoes would. The surfaces are all smooth and nothing scratches your skin. I didn’t bother to add pics, because the pics in the listing show all the angles, and they look exactly as pictured. I think these will hold up really well, but I’m sure I’ll be back for another pair next year in a new color. The blue does go with everything, but I’ll look for a different color next time to add some variety. I wear a 9.5 in tennis shoes, and a 10 in boots and Merrel ice and jungle moc. I normally go 9.5 or even 9 in sandals, but a 10 was a perfect fit for me in these (probably because I have such a high arch…the top has just the very slightest bit of stretch to it, but it’s not adjustable, so I decided to go with the 10 for that reason. They could be a tad shorter and still fit well, but the very supportive arch in these shoes hits in just the right spot to be super comfortable and my feet don’t slide around at all). Oh yeh, did I say arch support-very good support without it feeling like a bump. So happy with these!

I just bought these for a trip to Hawaii. I have t worn them yet but they feel amazing! I usually wear an 8.5 but since they don’t run in half sizes I got a 9 and it fit perfectly. I hope they feel as good once I start wearing them.

I love these sandals because they have great support and don't stretch out after miles of use.

This is a dependable good quality slide sandal that fits true to size. I have a narrow foot and my normal shoe size is 7.5 but I initially ordered a size 6 to see if it might be a tighter fit but it was too short in length and arch support. I reordered a size 7 and it's a little bit loose but fits great and is very comfortable with or without socks. I am now going to order two more pair because these are my favorite house shoes as they don't scratch delicate wood floors.

I just got these to hopefully take on a two week guided tour. Still just wearing around the house with socks a little as haven't decided if I'll keep or not. They seem like a good fit and likely comfortable for a long day. My complaint is the color. I ordered the Silver Lining because looked like a nice neutral brown, but they are way lighter than the photo. I would say oatmeal describes them well. I would order a different color, but really what's in the picture was exactly what I was looking for, so not sure now.

True to size with the comfort and quality you would expect from a Merrill shoe.
