NAOT Men's Lappland Soft Black Lthr Sandal 10 M US

Ok...they just arrived...OMG!!!...forgot how good they feel!! Had a pair for 13 years, then the trend wore down finally. Wore them all over Europe and other trips, as well as daily in summer wear. Regretted tossing them, 5 years ago, as are the most comfortable sandals ever worn!!!Over past 5 years, have spent over twice this price, on numerous sandals less than $100, trying to find as good as sandal fit... like, Clarks, Ecco, Teva, and lesser brands. Nothing fit as well!Soooo...as a $$ miser, but buy the best...finally had enough of not as good a fit, and plunked down the $160! Man, as soon as stood on them, there was an instant literal "aaaahhhh" came out of my mouth! Felt that good!!As have 2 different length feet, and one pronates, the other is normal... had hard time finding the middle path. As these inserts are like Burks, made of cork and rubber, & that mold to your feet, and recall very quickly too. Initially putting them on, was like soft cradling the feet, and even not molded yet!Others reviews say that the leather has gotten thinner, not as good quality, etc... heck NO! Near 20 years later, same excellent quality!!! Leather is as was, thick enough, soft, and instantly conforms to foot. Why the "aaahhh", when initially put them on, and wore them. Virtually no break in too, as just needs time and pressure, for the footbed to adapt & mold to your foot.As a retired Doc, and a body ergonomics expert....can't speak higher of these sandals!!! And nooooo, do not work for them, or Jewish... lol.Highly reco them to normal and problem feet! And worth every penny too!!! Will never stray from Naot sandals again!.....lolll.

This brand is the only one my husband wears for comfort and durability. They do require a little breaking in to get the leather to supple and foot forming perfection. These replaced an exact pair that are 2 years used, worn everyday and still look good and are intact.

fine quality but somewhat difficult to fit properly and too heavy

My son has about 3 pairs of shoes, sneakers, dress and sandals. the sandals get worn the most in the Houston heat. I've been a Naot fan for about 20 yrs, and my husband bought himself a pair locally 6 or so years ago but replaced them with same model (slightly different than this pair) on Amazon. Same thing as my son. He bought locally to get the fit then replaced with same model from Amazon. I know what fits my feet in Naot and have no hesitation in buying them online. I find them somewhat more comfortable and definitely more stylish than Birkenstock. Just wish Amazon offered them with deep discounts.

I have once previously owned a pair of these sandals. The last pair, I replaced the insole once or twice, eventually the rubber of the sole cracked, and I had to stop wearing them.Now, here I am, years later, and I have purchased them a second time. If the rubber cracks a second time, I probably won't buy them a third time, but they are very comfortable and stable and they look pretty good and the replaceable insole is a good feature. A good shoe from a reliable company.

1. Best fit ever - I have used them for walking and hiking and even after a long 8 mile hike I did not get blisters.2. Durable - I have had my pair for over 5 years and had to replace the replaceable lining once.3. Fit do not stink - since they are lined with leather, the sandals do not stink as other did.I have two Naot pairs of Sandles one is the Mikael which does not have the back strap and I use it as loafers around the house year round with socks in the winter. The other is the Lappland which is almost identical except it has a back strap and I use during the warm months as my casual outdoor foot wear. Over the past 30 years I have tried many sandals and only Birkenstock fit the bill but Naot seem to last much longer.

These are the best sandals ever. I normally walk with a cane… unless I’m wearing these sandals
