My first pair was purchased in store. So I knew the quaility, size, and fit and how they wear. Went back to the store to purchase another pair because I like them and they could be hard to get later. They didn't have any left so I found them on Amazon. I'm glad i did. Same shoe, quality, size and color I wanted. Very pleased.
The sandal is a good compromise between a leather sandal and a synthetic all-weather active/athletic sandal. The sole looks a little cheap but I will wait to see how it wears before making a final assessment. It's probably more hygienic and easier to clean than a leather insole.One thing to note: the sizing is very odd for a New Balance product. I usually wear an 11EEEE in New Balance; I ordered the 10EEEE based on other comments. I'm glad I ordered the smaller size; the length is perfect. In my opinion it still feels a tad narrow compared to other NB products; it's wide enough, but not as wide as their athletic shoes.To potential buyers, I would order a full size smaller than your usual size--definitely if you're between sizes. I can't speak to how the normal or narrow widths run.One last thing--these sandals don't have the best arch support; the insole is quite flat. It's comparable to other sandals, but if you're expecting great New Balance arch support like their athletic shoes these don't have them.
These sandals are okay. I have previously owned New Balance Men's Response sandals and loved them. The biggest difference between the two is the width. These are simply not wide enough. I am a 14 (3-4 E).A few months after wearing on a regular basis:. They are holding up well. Someone else had mentioned these are longer than normal and I tend to agree. Usually shoes / sandals are about a quarter inch longer than my foot when I wear 14 extra wide. These are 1/2" to 3/4" longer. You might want to consider sizing down.Bottom line:. Holding up well and comfortable. Just make sure you get the right size LOL
Narrow feet are hard to fit. These are comfortable and work well.

Was hoping these would be like former New Balance sandals my husband liked. He wanted light weight and comfortable fit. These have Velcro straps which help adjust them to any foot.However when he wears them they stain the bottoms of his feet black. The color bled from the foot bed onto his skin. Sandals are meant to be worn in warm / hot weather so I would assume the temperature didn't cause the staining. Sadly we won't be purchasing them again and will have to find another brand. Unfortunate to have to toss them out but no other solution.

Finally after looking around for so long buying and returning so many sandals I found some that actually fit my daughter.She has super Xtra wide feet wears orthopedic shoes. ,never can find sandals. and these have velcro all over the straps so you can adjust them to your liking, and they are super comfortable.these are the only sandals I will be buying for her because they are amazing and she actually likes them and keeps them on,just in time for summer to great purchase!
